Need Advice!!

My husband and I have 280 points already that we purchased last year, but we were thinking about more, maybe another 200 or so. Then I see this resale that looks good to me, but it is over 500 points. I really want it, but $35000 plus, I just don't know. Should we or shouldn't we? We love disney and have a 2 year old. I'm just not sure I can justify it. What do you think?

If you only need 200 points, I certainly wouldn't buy 500, no matter how cheap.

Remember, in the long run you will pay much more in maintenance costs for a point that the original purchase price. So even a good deal for points you don't need is not such a good deal.

There are lots of contracts out there...are you looking at all the major brokers' sites? I'm sure you'll find something much closer to the number of points you are looking for.

Also, I would contact each of the brokers and let them know what you are looking for. Many times, contracts don't even make it to the market because the brokers have a "buyers wish list" that they match up before they post.
