We are planning to go near end of Jan and was wondering if we should book now taking advantage of the get two nights free offer or should we hold out in the hopes of a better offer? Also, if we did book now is it possible to upgrade closer to the time to a better hotel and if we did upgrade would we still get the same offer on the upgrade? TIA x

We're having a similar problem - do we book now for February half term or wait and see if our preferred date just after the New Year has special offers? The way the offers seem to go is the booking period opens with the first lot of offers and a couple of days after that initial offer closes there's a flash sale - the current round of summer offers ends in on 28th June and it'll be interesting to see then if they follow the same form.

Ultimately though we have no way of knowing if the offers are going to get better and tbh 4 for the price of 2 is a pretty good one. People have had mixed results with getting an upgrade in a flash sale; some people are successful, some aren't. When we went over last November we initially booked the Santa Fe but were able to upgrade to the SQ with no problems at all but we booked through a travel agent who were incredibly helpful (and charged the same as Disney). If you're happy with the price you can get at the moment I'd personally book it and fingers crossed you'll get an upgrade in a flash sale.

Same problem here but I think that the actual offer right now is a good one.

I think that 2 nights free should be about the same as an 40% offer.

I will book soon and if they will be an better offer, I would try to upgrade.

The 2 nights free is a good deal. I booked for my June trip on the French site as they were offering 1 night free. This worked out to be cheaper then the 15%-20% off from the UK site plus with the Euro climbing by the time the balance was due the price was even better, we saved over £200 by doing this

Isn't the 2 nights free offer about 50% off as you are getting 4 nights for price of 2 (so paying half). Having said all that, Disney make the prices up as they go along as quite a few on here have noted supposed RRP prices which seem to change when an offer comes along? ;) Someone said it might be to do with summer/winter price setting?

I think we are going to wait (someone here said the nights free offer ended in August, as it's 28th June (thanks for that!) I'm a little happier to wait until after then and see what happens I guess). We can only stay for 3 nights so while it is a good deal (33% off as one night free), it's not the best.

I'm hoping for our dates we'll get a flash sale deal - will be a first though as never managed before!!

If not, then we have APs and I'm hoping that they will have a 35% off AP rate so it will work out about the same as the one night free anyway.

It's so hard knowing when to book. As others have said, normally you can upgrade especially if you have to pay more money but this isn't guaranteed. Some have had issues with trying to upgrade and haven't managed it, but on the whole, most have. So it's a guessing game!

You wouldn't get the same offer if you upgraded hotel later on after it had finished but you can sometimes upgrade your hotel, or add extras to your package to benefit from a new offer. A lot of people have been allowed to do this if the new package costs as much as or more than the old package (some have even been allowed to pay less doing this) but there are some CM's who don't allow it. The advice on here generally seems to be hang up and try speaking to someone else!

DLP dreams - the % discount will depend on how many nights you stay - if you stay 4 nights it will be 50% (or more off the brochure cost if you get children free too). The longer you stay the smaller the % discount will be. :goodvibes
