Here in NC they keep the A/C so chilly in restaurants that you need to bring a sweater or freeze to death thru dinner. Is that how it is in restaurants in WDW? We leave tomorrow and i need to pack appropriately. Thanks

I sometimes do, it depends, and I always take one at home. We were just there in May and I didn't need one in most WDW restaurants but on I-4 (I know, off property) I did.

Some resort restaurants are chilly, but it's a pain to carry one through wdw.

It's a personal thing certainly--but I've never needed a sweater at any WDW restaurant.

Erlene,

I'm cold more often than not, and I needed a sweater in almost EVERY restaurant. Liberty Tree Tavern was the coldest. The Brown Derby was next coldest. Happily, Le Cellier was comfortable. My DH said all the restaurants were "comfortable." :confused3

Since we usually rented a locker anyway, I would stash my sweater/jacket in the locker and retrieve it at dinner time.

Have fun!

We are always so happy to get out of the florida heat we try and soak up as much of the AC as we can....no such thing as too cold for us!

My DS and I were just talking about this last night as our trip is coming up soon! When we go to dinner, we always bring a sweater or sweatshirt. The A/C gets too cold for us. If we are in the parks during the day, we usually just get counter service so don't have to worry about being too cold, but if you are going for a long sit-down dinner (ours are usually 2-3 hrs) and think you might get cold, definitely bring a sweater.

I definitely need a sweater in the restaurants -- even in the shops on Main Street, it's freezing! When we were there in October, it was cold like crazy --
but now that we'll be there in June, I'll be looking forward to it!

The only one that was cold to the point of being uncomfortable for me was H&V. DS & I are both very cold natured and when we go out for dinner at home we always bring jackets. I will figure out a way to have jackets on hand for dinner every night because DS hardly eats anything and if he is too cold he really won't eat. DH sat through dinner at Kona in a wet T-shirt (we got drenched coming out of AK) and he didn't complain, so I guess it depends on the person! I tried to convince him to buy a dry shirt in one of the shops at the Poly but they called us to be seated so quickly he didn't have time.
