We are going in for 6 days over Labor Day weekend. I'm taking my parents, ds (3) and myself. One of the days, I'm taking ds to Chef Mickey's for breakfast and I'd like to make reservations that evening for my parents to have a nice dinner somewhere. We're on free dining so I'd like it to be somewhere they can use table service credits. Where would you recommend them go? It doesn't necessarily have to be incredible romantic, just somewhere more 'adult' - is Victoria and Alberts (is that what it's called) in the Grand Floridian - on the dining plan? Would that be a good place? Here's where we are eating during the week, so I'd like to not repeat -

Crystal Palace
Ohana's
Coral Reef
Whispering Canyon
Le Cellier
Chef Mickey's

Thanks for any help!

1.) Jiko in the AKL
2.) California Grill in the Contemorary
3.) Flying Fish Cafe on the Boardwalk
4.) Shula's in the Dolphin
5.) Citricos in the GF

I would look at Flying Fish, Jiko, Artist Point, and Citricos. They are all 2 credit options, though.

Victoria and Alberts is not on the dining plan but you are welcome to pay OOP if you would like.

I look at DDP as a subsidy from my Uncle Walt, and I know that I can use 2 TS credit to dine at the better restaurants, so that's what I do. I'd rather eat well on Disney's $$$, and spend my own when the credits run out.

Pretty sure you could use any of the restaurant's except Shula's (not owned by Disney)-to do this.

If not, or you just want to use 1 TS credit- you are somewhat forced to stay in the parks. The hotels typically have much better restaurants.
