need a poncho pattern to knit or crochet

My daughter wants a poncho for the fall....I wish I had saved all of mine when I was her age, but I remember my Mom made all of mine ao wanted to do the same fror her....does anyone have a link to a poncho pattrn or know an easy way to whip one out...I am not a novice, but not an expert


we already have some really pretty yarn. I thought I could just start and wing it, but I can't figure out how to make the poncho shape
