I have most of my ADR's books. I would like some suggestions on a few more. We like character meals/buffets. I am DF/GF but my son is not. He is not an adventurous eater. Mostly, he eats ceasar salad, chicken tenders, fries, roast chicken rice, and pizza. He is adult as well.

We will have 10 day park passes with PH but there for fifteen days. So i need a few out of park Ts for our non park/water park/resort days. I figure the first day I will not book a TS because sometimes we have a nap in the afternoon and will want to hit the parks.

Here is what I have so far....

Day 2 -Tusker house breakfast
Day 3 - 50s Primetime
Day 4- Boma breakfast NON PARK day - water park
Day 5- Coral Reef lunch
Day 6- Tony Town Square dinner
Day 7-Ohanas breakfast NON PARK DAY
Day 8-Sci-fi lunch
Day 9-
Day 10- Non park day -- Spirit of Aloha ??? 2 TS
Day 11-
Day12-
Day 13-
Day 14-

Well I guess the first question would be what parks are you planning on doing what days or will you have park hopper tickets so that will not matter?

Chef Mickeys, 1900 Park Fare are also character breakfasts and no parks are needed.

Rainforest Cafe in DTD is another fun place (I personally didnt like TRex but others do, so that's another option).

Garden Grill in Epcot is suppose to be one of the best buffet/character meals from reviews but its only open for dinner. Crystal Palace is also a good one in MK and you can do any of the meals there. I personally didn't care much for Tusker House but my then DD7 loved it. Liberty Tree Tavern is a family style dinner that is pretty decent. All of those will have options your son will like.

Non park TS other than boma that you already have I would go for Captains Grille or Cape May Café breakfast, Whispering Canyon Café dinner and maybe Hoop de doo if you can spare the two credits. Also had a very nice meal at Big River Grille (they don't take ADR but do take ddp) and House of Blues last year :)

Just my opinion but Garden Grill was horrible. That slow spin didnt make my food sit well at all, the food wasn't all that great either, but thumbs up for at least Chip N Dale. And depending on when OP is going, Liberty Tree Tavern is closed for rehab until sometime in November.

We will have park hoppers so it will not matter, but for the first part of the trip I tried to coordinate our lunch or dinner ADR s to correspond with any EMH. However, I had to change some ressies around so that may not apply anymore.

I will look up all these menus> thank you for the suggestions

I cannot get Chef Mickey's. The food wasn't great but is a tradition even though DS is now 19!

I have not been to either...The reviews aren't that great but looking at the menu, DS would like the nachos and salads on there.

Tusker House is our tradition for first full park day for the last two trips, so it will stay a tradition. I would love to go back to LTT but they are closed when we are there. We are going Aug 15-29th. I might look into Crystal Palace. Has anyone been for dinner to CP?

I might just sneak in another breakfast at Boma, it looks sooo good! And for my son, maybe another Tusker House breakfast.

Being as day one I will use two CS in one day, that means that one day I will have two TS.

I hope I can get Raglan ROAD. I really really want to try their GF FIsh and Chips.

Garden Grill was our favorite meal of our trip last year! We loved everything from the food to the characters to the service to the atmosphere and seeing my favorite Living with the Land ride! We cannot wait to go back there again. The food was so fresh and delicious. The restaurant slowly rotates which is cool, but it is so slow most people barely even notice it.

I was worried about that. Is lunch quieter?

If I can't get in to RR is Cooked of Dublin the same food? Is it just as good?

Haven't tried RR for lunch but if loud noises don't really bother u much go for it as its really fun there - my daughter was just really over tired and we really couldn't enjoy the place like we would've liked to have otherwise :)

I keep trying for a reservation. Heres hoping!

Outside of Parks:

Boardwalk area - ESPN, Fresh (inside Dolphin), Beaches & Cream (inside Yacht Club), Cape May is a good breakfast buffet w/ Goofy.

Downtown Disney - Rainforest Cafe

Monorail - we like Grand Floridian Cafe for the stroll at hotel, Kona (Polynesian) is fine too.

Wilderness Lodge - Whispering Canyon can be fun (like 50's Prime Time)

Animal Kingdom Lodge - Sanaa has animals outside the window.

Thank you. We just canceled Sci-fi and 50s because my son doesn't eat pork or beef and there is nothing on the menu that he likes. :'(

So we will have a look at few of these menus.it will be nice to check out some new places too.

Crystal Palace breakfast is better than lunch hand dinner in my family's opinion.
Ohana breakfast is my favorite.
Boma breakfast and dinner are both great.
We like RFC and Trex, but they are chain restaurants. We usually do one or the other though. My kids like them.
50s Primetime if fun.
We have tried Coral Reef lunch 3 times and all 3 times we had a bad experience.
Tony Town Square dinner was just ok.
Sci-fi lunch, I am not a fan of the food, but we always go there.
Spirit of Aloha - the food was very good, but the show was not for us.
Kona café has really good food.
1900 Park Fare is good for breakfast and dinner.
Chef mickeys is starting a brunch starting 5/22 for reservations. You might want to look into that.
