I knew he did it! I knew he killed his wife and 9 month old child. I just cannot think of a cruel enough punishment for him. One good thing, Johnny Cochran is in that big courtroom down below so he will not be able to defend him like he did OJ.

Did he need to? They found his wife's dna on the muzzle of the gun from her father's collection AND he bought a one way ticket to England. I do not think it was necessary to confess actions speak louder than words.

He did all but confess... said he left the house for two hours to do an errand & when he came home he found his wife & child dead on the bed.... he covered them up, thought about killing himself, couldn't do it, stayed in the house another 24 hours & then took a flight to the UK.... I'm sorry, but if you come home & find your wife & child on the bed dead, you usually call the police!! He's such a coward... he killed his wife & child & then couldn't kill himself.... why didn't he just leave them alone & just take himself out if it was so bad... He should have just gotten on that plane with that one way ticket & left his wife & baby behind if that's what he wanted to do.... so senseless, it's unbelievable...

I agree this is on tv right now. This is so bizarre. Could not do anything abou his wife dying so he goes to England. Yeah that is a typical response to see a dead wife and baby. PLEASE!!

Oh wait they said he was "dissatisfied with his sex life and thousands in debt".

They also said his dna was on the handle of the gun and his wife's was on the muzzle. PLEASE!!

Now they are trying to portray him in a slightly sympathetic or at least some of the lawyers are.

He is not fightingt extradition...yeah right so that is in his favor ...why did he leave if he is ready to face the music and how can ANYONE kill a 9 month old child?

I only wish that Ma had the death penalty and public executions. Maybe they can reconsturct Gallows Hill in Salem and this time use it for the truly guilty!!

If MA had been a death penalty state, the UK would have NEVER agreed to extradite him. At least now, if he's found guilty, he'll get to go to prison, and be known as a baby killer.

Innocent until proven guilty. I know it is a hard thing to keep in mind when we get caught-up in the excitement of a breaking news story, but it is a critical foundation of our society.

Well let me just say as a parent, there is no one lower than a baby killer and one that kills his own child is beyond words. He does NOT deserve to live and if you have a better solution then what is it? Should we continue to support him in jail while he pumps up, gets a degree, and finds Jesus while his child is robbed of even her first birthday?

I'm sorry, but I'd put a serial rapist/killer, who plots out how to commit his offense repeatedly, and deliberately tries to cause as much pain and fear in his victims as possible, much "lower" than a mentally unstable baby killer. And again, I'm sorry, but I'd put someone who kills someone else's baby just as low as someone who kills their own baby.

I think keeping things in perspective is really important. If Entwhistle did what you think he did it is horrible, but there actually are far worst offenses that people commit -- people who represent a far far far greater threat to society.

Wow! Now I find that scary! While I do agree that the rest of the criminals you mentioned are bad and on the same plane as this crime I still feel ALL of them should be sent to what ever exists after this life. I just respond as a mother and you are right about rapists etc. I will not argue what I will argue is that they ALL need to be pusished the ultimate degree, not given 3 squares a day and college educations.

AS to him not being in his right mind, well we cannot determine that at this point but we can determine that he was with it enough to care about saving his own hide.

Very,very sad ..my heart goes out to her family as they have lost a beautiful daughter and grand-daughter. Hope he gets the full penalty of law...there are no excuses for the horrible actions he took.

Neil owed the Mafia huge money. They threatened to harm his family if he did not pay up. He came home saw them dead understood it was his turn next and fled the country.

so sad , they said on the news in the UK that he wasn;t fighting the extradition as he was planning on pleading not guilty to the crime.

The court of public opinion doesn't have the 'innocent until proven guilty' rule. That's the court's domain, which also means a higher standard for burden of proof.

That being said, I am leaning heavily towards guilt and when the case is actually tried and both sides and evidence are laid out, my own personal judgment will be cemented. But in the end, my observations don't matter, just 12 MA jurors.

This is such a terrible tragedy to begin with and I can't believe an innocent man wouldn't do his last duty to his wife and child by seeing to their proper burial. That right there says so much about this man's priorities, let alone motives.
