National rates down again for end April/beg May

Okay, I found the other $40 off coupon for intermediate, entered my EA #, then ND1833JJF and got a rate of $224, inc. taxes & fees. Why am I getting a rate significantly higher???

I hope this hasn't been asked before but where are you getting the coupon code ND1833JJF?
I just put it in and the price difference was amazing. I had a car booked for 5 days at 187 and now increased the days to 7 days with a drop off in Tampa instead of MCO and got a rate of $117. I saved $70 and have it longer and now don't have to depend on my sister to pick me up from WDW and bring me to her house.
Can someone please send me the coupon so I don't lose the rate?

I went back and looked at my emails from National and one of the emails gave me the code but didn't have an actual coupon associated with it. By the way, if I am wrong, someone please tell me. Otherwise, I will be stuck when they ask for the physical coupon.

Its not really a printable coupon. It is a email sent to members of the Emerald Aisle club. If you are a club member, just show your card, you don't need a coupon. The email has the members name on it.

Karla,

I don't think that the EA contract code is really where the savings comes in. I think that it's just the coupon. Try using the coupon code with other contract IDs.

When I was playing around on the National website in the Emerald Reserve, there is the code for the $40.00 coupon..there is not a printable coupon.

I thought the $40 off coupon was only for SUVs and minivans? Is there a different $40 off than the one linked through mousesavers?

There are two $40 off emerald club members internet coupon codes floating around.
They are not public codes...

One is for:
Valid for the rental of a Minivan or SUV.
Offer valid for rentals picked up between 4/7/07 and 5/20/07.
Weekly rates require a 5-day minimum rental with a Saturday night keep.
Offer valid at participating U.S. locations.
Request Coupon ID: ND1235MMJ

The other one is:
Spring fling offer
$40 savings off intermediate or larger, must be used by June 25, 2007
ND1833JJF minimum 5 day rental required and Saturday night keep

Doesn't seem to matter what ID# I put in with the $40 coupon, I can't beat my Alamo rate of $233.50 for a standard SUV for 10 days (5/4-5/14). Guess I'll stick with Alamo this trip!

There's been yet another drop this afternoon!! My rate is still holding on at $243 for 2 weeks EA, but I've been watching for my friend who arrives a week after I do. Last week she was at $151 for a one week rental EA, but just now I checked and her rate dropped to $121, using 5007125 and ND1833JJF. That is amazing for one week after all taxes and fees for EA. Wow, so early May folks need to recheck!

I just used your dates and came up with $214 for a mid size SUV. Don't do the EA and you can get the rate. It will be ER.
