Nassau - Feedback on Blue Lagoon Island VIP Adults Only excursion?

Hello! My husband and I are about to go on our first adults only Disney cruise! We've always stayed on the ship when in port at Nassau. We are planning to do the same this trip, but also open to a really great beach day. We know nothing will compare to Castaway Cay, but does anyone have feedback on the adults only Blue Lagoon VIP Beach Day excursion through DCL? We're also open to other options. If we're going to get off the ship, we would want a nice beach with loungers and shade that we don't have to fight for. Otherwise, we'll stay on and get a massage instead!

My adult son and his wife went in late August. They loved it. However, the boat ride to the location is a bit long and that eats into the time alloted. It is pricey so I am unsure of the overall value but the food and drinks were good and free.
My adult daughter has a 2 year old. They went to the same beach but were, of course, not on the adult section. They assessed the family version as less ideal because there was a longer wait for the boat to get to the beach...
