Well, I'll be leaving with the family (yep, all 4 of us are going) around Noon so I should be at the Track around 4PM. The judging agency called yesterday and Anheuser-Busch has decided to raise the spending money portion of the prize from $200 to $700 because we are driving - nice! I won't get the money until Tuesday but that is probably a good thing - I would likely spend it all on souvenirs The weather forecast has improved and now we are down to a chance of rain on Saturday/Saturday night and cool/cloudy on Sunday! That's good.

Well, have to go pack. I'm taking my digital camera so hopefully I'll have some pictures to share when I get back. Thanks for the well wishes folks. Have a great weekend.

Tori, I wish you a wonderful NASCAR NEXTEL Cup weekend. I can hardly wait for Dover to roll around so I could experience the smell of the fumes of that Sunoco gas and burning Goodyear rubber along with the campfires of the weekend warriors, the burgers, sausages and pizza from the vendors and the general excitement of the track. I will expect a complete trip report (with photos) detailing your experience so we may live it with you until we can experience it ourselves.

Congratulations to this week's winner - WendyZ! Nice Job.

Also want to congratulate this week's winner (even if I am a little disappointed) - Elliott Sadler! Actually after Gordon had his alternator problem (can you say broken heart) - I wanted either Sadler or Kahn (although last two laps I was screaming for Kasey - he was working so hard). It was great! I was especially pleased when Gordon's car started moving fast again and he was able to pass JR for 3rd. He might not have won because I attended the race but he did get his best finish this season so I brought him some luck No race next weekend for the Nextel Cup guys because of Easter Sunday. (Busch will run on Saturday at Nashville).

DH is a Gordon fan and was upset and I'm a Sadler fan and was not upset. DH started rooting for Kahne against Sadler so when Sadler won I celebrated (dancing in the living room) to his annoyance. Sauter almost caused Sadler the race which was no surprise. All in all it was a good day with Sadler 1st, Gordon 3rd, Jr. 4th and Stewart 8th. Can't wait till Martinsville.
