Hi everybody...it's a bit off topic, but here's the Flat Stanley story....
Flat Stanley is a book that alot of grade school teachers use to help their students learn. The students each make a FS and then they send him off on adventures.
So, who is Flat Stanley?? Stanley was just a normal little boy, until he was squished flat by his bulletin board. He wanted to visit California, so he folded himself up and mailed himself to CA.
Flat Stanley is such a great way for kids to learn about different people, places, etc. The FS that we hosted belongs to the son of one of the ladies on the Rewards Board.
Hope this helps...
Ginny
PS---Valerie, thanks for letting us know about the free website.
Yes, thank you for posting the picks Andy. I too had no clue who Flat Stanley was but after reading Ginny's post I googled - cool program. Made me wonder if my school teacher SIL knows
Am watching NASCAR This Morning of Fox Sportsnet and they just showed Matt Kenseth's Birthday cake. It was quick glance but I did see two cars on his cake - the 8 and the 20 and both were on their roof They should have shown the whole cake!

LOL, that's so funny. We don't really get Fox Sportsnet. It's Comcast here and at night it switches to FSN but not all programs. We only seem to get Totally NASCAR a few nights a week at 4:00 and sometimes 7:30 and the 4:00 one is the day befores episode I just get lucky sometimes and catch it. I don't know why it's not on Speed Channel anymore.
Congrats to Dale JR and his fans. Congrats to Lanshark! Her first win of the season.
I'm glad Gordon managed to salvage a 10th place win. He started off so well but what the heck happened. I was listening to trackpass so I know part of the problem was as the rubber was put on the track his car kept getting looser and looser. Oh well, on to next week. As long as Gordon maintains a position in the top 10 I don't mind if they get their bad races out of the way early
I gotta say, IMO Foxes coverage stunk today. Seemed like tons of commericals breaks, they didn't explain what was going on after the commericals, went straight to a commerical after Jr. crossed the start finish line then took their good old time showing who finished where. I don't know, they just really annoyed me more then anything today. Oh well, on to Darlington.
Hi everybody!!! Congrats to lanshark on your win!!
We're back from the race and all I can say is that "people watching" was at an all-time high. We saw one guy who was so busy cheering that he missed a step and fell backwards about four steps (okay, he was drunker than Otis at happy hour). While he wasn't feeling any pain at the time, I bet his backside is sore tomorrow!!!
The race was really good (except for Elliott not doing well...I was listening in on the radio and he kept telling the pit that he was "loose, extremely loose"). Jeff G. looked strong for a little while...Ryan was flying (as usual), Tony was running strong, Kasey was a force..........and then, out of nowhere...#8.
Off the topic, but for FS fans, Flat Stanley did make it to the racetrack, but he fell asleep in the visor and didn't get to actually attend the race. I'm sure that he was probably listening in on XM144 and cheering for his new friend Tony Stewart!
Congrats Lanshark!!
Way to go Jr!!!! Didn't get to see the race, DD had basketball games today. But glad to see him having a week again...back up to third in points!
