Can you still get the Steak and lobster tail at Narcoosee's on the dining plan for 2017? We understand it is a signature dining and will cost 2 credits. thanks.

no, the lobster tail has been split off the entree as an "enhancement". You can get the steak and add it on for a $27 surcharge if you want... but it is no longer included as a single entree under the DDP.

They are separate entrees so a party of two can order each and then split, if desired, and have the meals covered by the DP.

Went to Narcoosee's recently on 8/6. The meal was outstanding. Started with the cheese plate which had 5 different variety's and they were all outstanding. Wife had the Las Alturu's Pinot noir which she said was good and I a local Florida brew that was quite tasty with the cheese. Wife Pan Roasted Chicken was excellent as I had the Smoky Shrimp & Grits which were out of this world and Lobster Mac which as well had hearty chunks of lobster in a creamy mac and cheese. Could have chosen many of the desserts but we had the Chocolate Torte which was more of a Mousse it seemed but still excellent and the Chocolate Coconut Creme Brulee which may be the best thing I have ever had at one of the Disney restaurants. Wife enjoyed an Ice wine as well and was sorry she did not get the bottle. It was a bit pricey but will look forward to going back next time we visit.

you just made me drool on myself. was the shrimp and grits back on the appetizer menu? they are listing soft shell crab on the disney menu now for the apps, I was hoping shrimp will be back when I go back in december as soft shell crabs are a spring/early summer thing. Not crazy about the texture of them and was really hoping for the shrimp and grits. Or is that an entree? Doing deluxe plan so oink oink.

OMG I LOVE ICEWINE! it is not on the online menu either. The bottles tend to be half size, I could put one of those away myself ;) Also I probably would have gotten the almond cheesecake since it gets the most raves but chocolate and coconut is pretty much my favorite combination and you may have talked me out of it

OK not really sure I needed to know about the drooling : ) The SHrimp and grits were back on the menu did not know they were off. Shrimp was really smokey in a great just kind of glazed in some kind of sauce. Grits were Tillamock(not sure I spelled that correct) grits and were smooth and creamy it was a perfect combo. Actually if push cam to shove probably would have chosen Shrimp and Grits over Lobster Mac and that's saying a lot.

The Ice wine was yes a smaller bottle I think about maybe a liter just a guess. The one my wife had was paired with her dessert the Chocolate Torte which as turned out was the Ice Wine she wanted anyway.

Other cool thing was we had 8 PM reservations and numerous times made sure to tell us to stay and watch the fireworks. We had a window view which was great and they pump in the music as well. They were still seating at 10 PM but there was no rushing us out. It was a really enjoyable meal and night. Service was outstanding as well. I think our waiter was Steve an older gentlemen who had been there since they opened I think. He knew the menu up and down.

Yes it was the Raspberry beer. If you like that try Long Trail I think it is Raspberry Ale. It is made by a brewery in Colorodo
Actually, Lindeman's out of Belgium through Seattle.
