i was going through threads and mia said she said every line from a movie that was her favorite. so i thought - rings in head - napolean dynamite i have memorized word for word in that movie. i just want to know if u liked it or not im a big napolean fan!!

I have to say...my husband and I just don't get it. We were bored to death. They guy speaks in monotone! My son thinks it was a great movie. He laughs like crazy when he sees it. He quotes it. What am I missing?

Thank you! Someone else that did not like Napolean Dynamite. I didn't even finish watching it. This is coming from someone that loves movies. I laughed harder the first time I saw a person in vmk use inferno after being "burnt" by the dragon. He he. Actually, I still laugh everytime I see a person in vmk try this stunt.

I love Napoleon Dynamite! I laugh more and more every time I watch it. I especially like the part when Napoleon is at the FFA (Future Farmers of America) competition and is judging the milk. My daughter is very active in FFA and attends the various competitions. Last year her category was dairy. So she's at nationals in Kentucky and has to judge milk. The first sample she checked smelled like onions!

I saw a VMK character named Lafonda!

A bit of trivia, the actress who plays Deb also played Enola in Waterworld. Another movie that I laugh at more and more each time I watch it.

I have not yet seen the movie, but my mom has a copy that I am going to borrow. Everyone I know RAVES about it, so I am willing to give it a try. I am a big fan of weird and offbeat movies (Sky Captain, Royal Tennenbaums, House of Yes...) so this might be right up my alley.

I personally thought the movie was EXTREMELY boring, and COMPLETELY pointless with no sign of intellegent lifeform within it! LOL. I just about fell asleep in the middle of it and cringe teeth to have to see it again! LOL. Most of everyone in my class find it a "masterpiece" and "spectacular" but I don't see anything in it, literally! LOL.

It's Tina and it is not pointless..... and um... the movie was meant to have no menaing that is why it is so funny because it has no meaning it's like a movie a couple of neighborhood friends put together...

there is no point to the movie it is just funny tina is a fat lard pedro is a person who can grow a mustache in 3 days deb has a wacky hairdo napolean is trying to be cool his grandma breaks her cocoxs ( spell check ) uncle rico is a cheap money loving living in the past kind of guy and kip is a pointless guy trying to be a karate dude and is going out and getting married with lafonda. it is all funny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have watched it at least 4 times in the past week of vacation!! I think it is hysterical!

- Napoleon throws the orange at Uncle Ricco's van
- Pedro's "hot hair" that he just has to shave!!!
- Kips transformation from nerd to hip hop master!!
- Napoleon's skit for "Vote for Pedro"
- Vote for Pedro...and your wildest dreams will come true!
- Napolean in his thrift store rust colored suit!!
- LaFawnduh!!!!!!
- Bust Must!!!
- Bully roughs up boy for his lunch money and Napolean asks, "Does your neck hurt?"
- Napolean at the farm, "Do the chickens have sharp talons?" The farmer responds, "Boy, I have no idea what you are saying?"
-same farm, Napolean gagging on the beverage served!! (We all know that FlyThenFall would have no problem drinking that after seeing his "milk and pepsi video)


OMG, I could keep going but I think you get the picture, I am a big fan of Napolean Dynamite!

The Vote for Pedro dance Napoleon does is so funny.
I like TINA the llama!!! Rex is awesome, too!
And I like the opart when Napoleon is getting on the bus and his neighbor (or someone) shots the cow and all of the kids on the bus scream
