we went to Naples for a day last week while we were at WdW. It was a long ride but the beaches were fantastic. Next year we are thinking of staying a few days in Naples and than going b ack to WDW(we would like Sanibel but it is wayy to expensive). Any suggestions for Hotels in Naples. We like to stay in well known chains if possible. Also when is the off season? Am I correct in thiking it is the ON season for Orlando june, july and august?

On season for Naples is actually Nov to March or so. They have lots of Snowbirds there in the winter. We stay with friends at their condo when we go so no hotel advice, but the restaurants downtown are wonderful.

Okay so I will take restaurant advice then LOL. It was fantastic we went to the Pier and there could not have been more than 10 people on the whole beach! We cannot wait to go back for a few days.

i love naples. we stayed at doubletree suites this past march. rooms are small but clean and cozy.

There is a Best Western on US 41 that is nice enough, for a bteer location you can try the Holiday Inn, but rooms are small there. A really nice place is the Bella Sera on 9th...condos, east side of 41 but closer to 5th avenue. My folks live on Central, 6 blocks off the beach. I am going to PM you.

I would look into the Naples Beach & Tennis club or Edgewater Beach hotel are right on the beach & very nice.

Food wise we like Kelly's Fish house just to the left of Tin city. The Dock at Crayton cove(which is right at the City dock), Remi's Bistro, Maxwell's at the Bay, Silver Spoon, Yaba & Tommy Bahama's.

We stayed at the Ritz Carlton in Naples right on the beach and LOVED it. Beautiful resort. We actually got a really good rate for the summer too.
