MYW Package Question

I have a MYW package booked for later this month. I booked it with only one day base MYW tickets, intending to upgrade to multi-day passes when I get there. Now I'm thinking about going for Florida Resident Seasonal Passes instead.

What I want to know is whether I can upgrade the one day passes I already bought as part of the package to SP's (in other words, apply what I paid for them towards the cost of the SP's), or will I have to just pay full price for the SP's?

You can do this -- have the price of the 1-Day applied to your Seasonal Pass. I'm just not sure the Front Desk of the Resort you are staying in can help you. Because Seasonal Passes need proof of Florida Residency and name/address provided Guest Relations at the Theme Park may be the only place that can help you. But ask at check-in. The worst that will happen is they give you the 1-Day ticket and you have to go to a theme park. Well, you were planning on doing that anyway.

Yes, you can upgrade the tickets. BUT you must do it at a theme park and not a resort. And of course for all adults, you must have appropriate FL ids.

Thanks for the replies, and just to make sure, you guys are positive I can do this with the package? I knew it was possible to upgrade a MYW ticket to a Seasonal Pass, but my travel agent thought it couldn't be done if the ticket was bought with the package.

Sorry for asking twice. I guess I'm just a little paranoid about this

A ticket is a ticket. The only difference is that you might have to pay the difference between the discounted package rate and the standard price before upgrading.
