Interesting you brought up our second resort. It is at Wilderness lodge which has not been part of the testing yet. Maybe that has something to do with it?? It would be so nice if Disney would start releasing some of the rules.

Being at WL shouldn't be a problem. I'm one night at POP and rest of stay at WL and I've been able to do FP+ for our entire stay.

I don't think it _should_ have anything to do with it, but there are still gltiches in the system. The problem is you might not get much support for making selections in the second stay.[/QUOTE]

This is accurate! Tech support will not acknowledge that the MB will work during a stay at a non-testing resort, even though there are numerous reports of it working. They will tell you that your MB will only work during the testing resort part of your stay. Of course, they are probably recorded for quality assurance too, and don't want to be on tape telling anyone that it'll work.

Odd thing, we are staying at the PORFQ next week. My agent forwarded an email letting me know we were selected for the magic band. I called the number on the email becuase I had read that PORFQ was not part of the test run, but maybe they decided to roll it out early. Sure enough she confirmed PORFQ was not getting the magic band and we got the email in error. Boo.

This question may have been answered already but I'm getting dizzy reading all these posts. If we are checking in on Oct 31st in a non testing resort and they decide to do a full roll out on Nov 1st, does this mean no MB or FP+ because we were a day early? TIA (staying in the cabins)

No way to know how they'd handle it at this point.

They may not want to overload the CMs trying to deal with people checking in that are getting them, and also trying to backfill guests already there.

However, if there was a full rollout, you might be able to use FP+ with just your KTTW card.

Probably, yes, as that's what a start date means. But it's something of a moot point until anything further is announced anyway.

wow, I would be pretty upset to get that e-mail and find out that it wasn't true.

Started to read your post and was getting excited as we check into POFQ in October and having been looking for any glimmer of hope that POFQ might be included before we get there.

Sorry this happened to you.

We're staying at POR and are part of the magic band testing in October. Our annual passes expire a couple days before we get there so we can't make any fast pass + selections. Does anyone know if I renew my AP's on the phone and get a confirmation # if I can link that to MDE and select FP+? I'm worried about waiting until we get there and there are no good FP+ times left.

We're staying at the Poly Oct 12-20. I just got my UCT tickets in the mail and am trying to link them, and am running into problems.

We got 2 adult 8 day MYW park hoppers and 1 child 8 day MYW PH, and we have a 6 month old. I assume the adult tickets are RFID, as they are green plastic. They don't have a QR code to scan on the back, does that matter? I see there are tickets like that on the example tickets when I linked them? Anyway, the child ticket is the old paper kind with a long ID number that is primarily letters. I added all 3 ID numbers and chose which person to link them with, there didn't seem to be a problem then.

However, I then tried to make FP+ choices. It does now let me into the FP+ screen, and it didn't before I linked tickets. But it says that only my son with the child's ticket has a linked ticket, and will only let me choose FP+ for him. My DH and I (as well as the 6 month old) both say "Needs Valid Park admission".

I went out Under Magic Bands and Cards in MDX on the computer, and it shows a picture of a linked card under both my DH and my accounts, but no ticket under my son. Then I went to my family and friends, where it shows that I manage all 4 accounts. Initially it showed my sons ticket there. Now when I go back it's gone. When I try to re-add the ID number from the child's it says that ticket is already linked. However, even though the child's ticket doesn't show up anywhere, it still only lets me choose him for FP+.

When I go into the MDX app on my Iphone under tickets and passes it shows only the child's 8 day MYW PH under my son, and neither of the other passes. It will also only let me choose PF+ for my son, saying "needs valid park admission" for my DH and I.

I did just link everything this AM. Is there a chance anything will change? Is there anything I can do on my own now, or do I have to call? I know this is nothing compared to others problems once they arrived, but it's irritating. I thought I had a handle on all of this, and the first thing I did beyond customize out bands didn't work.

Any advice is appreciated, I don't know what else I can do and didn't think I did anything incorrectly. :confused3:confused3

Call Disney IT and good luck

I was all excited at first, but then the bubble popped. oh well.. I hope it rolls out in time for you vacations!

Question - Can all linked members of my group attend an attraction provided at least one member of the party has a FastPass+ reservation?

For instance, if my DS has a FastPass+ for an attraction can I attend with him, or do we both need to select the same attraction at the same time?

Thanks.

No, everyone entering through the Fastpass+ entrance (3 years or older) must have a Fastpass+ entitlement. It's no different than with Fastpass.

Thanks for the confirmation. So, if your group chooses the same attractions you're limited to 3 FastPass+ attractions/day as a group.

Had a similar problem and Disney IT fixed if for me. It took a full 24 hours for the changes to show up, though, so you'll have to be patient waiting. I was advised it could take up to 24 hours, so I was checking most of the following day and thought I'd have to call again. I talked to Essence - always an interesting name when talking to Disney. :)

Another split stay question- sorry if already been answered somewhere-

For the first part of our stay we are staying at OKW- which isn't participating in magic bands for October- Will be there first five days of trip-

For second part we are at AOA- which is participating. For the AOA stay I have fastpass plus reserved, and uploaded my UCT tickets to my MDE

So- my question is- when we get to OKW what park tickets do we use? The paper tickets from UCT or can we just use our magic bands that have the tickets loaded onto them?

Yes because everyone is limited to only 3 fastpass+ per day. You don't all have to book the same fastpass+ but you do all need one to ride the ride at the same time.
