Ha ha, called IT over 2 weeks ago and they have yet to resolve duplicate tickets showing up for us on MDE. They did acknowledge the issue though (showing on MDE only), which was, uh, comforting? Whatever, less than 40 days now...

Lol well can you at least make FP+ reservations?
 
Does anyone know if there is a limit to the number of MagicBands you can get per reservation. If I had 6 in my reservation, would I get 6 bands or is there a limit of 4?

As far as I know it is only limited by the number of people you can have on a single reservation (I think the largest may be 12?)

We are checking into Pop on 10/12/13. Since we are going again next summer, we purchased APs for the first time. I was eligible for MB and have the APs linked and FP+ scheduled.

My question is do I still need to go to guest services for the actual AP card? We will want to be able to use regular FP so would we need the AP card or would we be able to use the room key (if we receive one) to get enough FP fo everyone?

You will need to get the actual AP if for nothing else to get discounts, as you have to show the actual AP at this time (and photo ID). Same for free parking if you later stay off site.
 
After not the best experience with the Electric Light parade FP+ viewing tonight(too crowded); we moved over to the Wishes FP+ viewing area. It was very nice and relaxing. I really enjoyed sitting on the ground with my family and looking up at the castle. Very pleasant and would recommend it.

I think they have let too many people reserve. I also don't see a lot of "policing" of the area either. People seem to just be coming in and out. I think this needs to be improved.

I read posts that people where just coming in to the area but cm were able to ask them to leave because they didn't have bands. What's going to happen when everyone has bands.

How long did it take for your bands to ship after your "customize by" date passed? We had to customize by 9/5 and since then MDE is saying your bands ate being processed and will arrive soon.

I've read posts from people saying the customized and had their bands a few days later. I customized and had to wait 2 weeks for 9/5 to pass and my bands are still processing. I want them yesterday!! LOL

Is it taking this long for anyone else?

I'm glad the wishes was better. We had FP+ for that tonight but ended up staying home. Was the wishes area crowded or still nice and spread out?

It was a little crowded but everyone seemed to have enough room. I would do it again. It was nice not standing around a 1,000 people on Main Street.

24 days out with reservations at Pop. Have received mymagic+ invite, MBs. Have made FP+ reservations. Paper tickets were purchased from UT and linked - not the RF kind, planning to swap when I arrive. Tickets are 6 day MYW with water park, but not park hopper.

To what extent are my FP+ reservations specific to the tickets I have? If I upgrade tickets to add park hopper or days, are they issuing a new ticket that would void my current FP+ reservations?

I bought the least expensive ticket I was sure I would need, thinking I could always upgrade and just pay the difference (I read and confirmed this was possible when you arrive at the park as long as there is at least one day unused remaining on your ticket). When I purchased I wasn't very knowledgable about mymagic+, and I am wondering now if wasn't a good decision.

In the same boat as you. Have the paper tickets purchased from UT before the price increase this year. I've linked them to my MDE account, made our FP+ selections and ordered our Magic Bands. I'm just not sure what to do with our paper tickets now. Do we exchange them for new RF kind at our resort when we check-in? Or do we have to do that at guest relations at one of the parks before entering the park with our Magic Bands? :confused3

You're right!!!' I got an email at 5am thing me they we shipped. They were delivered at 9:30am

Funny thing, I so go an email today inviting me to participate telling me how to get my bands LOL
 
So we're going New Year's week., we are AP holders but can't activate them til we get there. We are DVC members & are staying a Boardwalk. Will we be able to get MB & make FP+ ressies at the 60 day window? Or are we SOL until we get our AP's activated?

We don't even know if you can get them yet period.

The Boardwalk Villas are not a testing resort currently. Nor have they said when they will allow AP holders in general to get them.

IF you can get the magic bands, you _should_ be able to also register your AP vouchers online to get access to FP+. Whether that is at the 60 day mark or not depends on how testing is going. 60 days does not currently apply.
 
I hoping that we could get the thru the AP, hopefully more info will come out soon. Thank you doconeill!
 
I just called Disney and they told me our magic bands would be shipped to our resort, not our home. What has everyone else's experience been? We leave in 9 days for our trip so its getting to be too late to ship them here.
