My wife is in a panic

bummer for me I guess. maybe I was simply too old for it when it came out.

I feel the "adult" humor is subtle enough that it goes right over the heads of little kids. :teeth: heck, when I was really little apparently I didn't even know the word in the song was "blood." I guess he slurs it juuuust enough.

I agree- but the blood on the saddle part is pretty clear!

only if you know it already, apparently. :teeth: he sings it with a strong twang: "ba-lud on da sadlllllle. Ba-lud all arounnnnd"

As long as it's not before April next year, I've been to WDW about 8 times over the years and have never done CBJ, always overlooking it and others such as COP and PM for the 'thrill rides'. This trip we have decided to do everything we've never done before so hopefully this is all rumour!

I know this is overdramatic, but if they change it, I will stop going to WDW as a whole. Is nothing sacred anymore? Does Bob Iger have it out for me? I'm a wreck.
I know. I miss it desperatly at Disneyland. We go on it everytime we go to WDW.But, maybe if enough people scream about it, they will reconsider.

I can't threaten such a thing because it'd be a hollow threat, but I can promise I will never set foot in a Woody's Roundup in that building and I'm not watching TS4 until I get some confirmation that the bears are safe.

I'd also like to mention that on our last few years of visits the Bears had a mostly packed house . But I can't vouch for early morning or late evening since we plan to see the shows in the afternoon because it is the best time for an A/C break. :teeth:

I will personally refuse to step into that building forever if Country Bears are removed.

Per the same source - this could include Tiki Birds as well as CBJ - which makes NO sense to me since it is rumored to only be a puppet show???

If they remove Country Bears, I only hope the new show they put in is done very well instead of being done cheaply.
I look at the Lightning McQeen show. The animatronic of Lightning McQeen if very well done, but the rest of the show is very cheaply done.

I honestly didn't know it was "Blood On The Saddle" until I was way older. I barely understood what he was saying. And even if I could understand I'm sure I wasn't paying that close attention to the lyrics.

"All The Guys That Turn Me On Turn Me Down" would be considered inappropriate too, but that obviously went over my head as a kid too. Also, as others said, it's adult, but still passable as being relatively kid friendly. There's honestly been worst in PG rated films. The Hoop Dee Doo Revue at FW is pretty clean with it's content in terms of songs, but the jokes can be adult, but while also not going there too much. It all goes along with the era of these shows when they were made.

"Blood on the Saddle" is straight up my favorite part. My old roommate grew up and even bigger Disney fanatic than I am, and that's always been her family's go-to line.
