My Timeshare Better Than DVC?

The problem with getting the DVC information and studying it, is that it doesn't go into the mechanics of how the program works. For that, you need to ask questions and read here.

Have you thought about renting at SSR for your next trip to see how you like it? That might be a good thing to do before you make any other timeshare decision.

I think this is a great idea! You can really see the resort, try it out, sit throught the info session and really get a good feel for what you'd be buying. It sounds like DVC is what you want but you know after getting burned this time with Westgate you might be a little gunshy and want to really be sure of your choice. Good luck!!

Hi
When we arrive in Orlando in March 2007 they will refuse entry because of it. In his opinion $90.00 per month mortgage payment is better than being refused and at least he has a property to return to.

This is simply untrue. It's been thoroughly documented that U.S. immigration officials have had limited success keeping out people who have been placed on FBI and CIA terror watch lists. Do you really think they will know or care that you might have had a real estate dispute with a timeshare developer? :rotfl:

As I posted very early in this thread, these are the type of questions that a lawyer can answer for you very quickly and set your mind at rest.

So angel659, how did you make out with all this, were you able to get out???

If you bought 150 points on the resale market you can get it from 65 to 85 a point. Around 10,000 you can get a contract for 150. If you went every other year it is a 300 point contract, every other year. If you pick the right time and room size the 300 points, every other year, can go a long way. This contract do end 37 to 49 years. Yours might be life time???
