Fingers crossed Sue, and I got it wrong before to turn Pro his handicap needs to be 4 or less like IG said! Also DH said if he had some mental lessons it would help his game immensely (sp?)

I got my handicap a few days ago as I've just joined a new club after 15 years of not playing and it's 16, not sure whether to be happy or sad

Great news! Fingers crossed for next Monday.

Just bumped this up. Final round today and we had howling winds and it was freezing !!

He didn't win - but came 2nd. He's not too upset as he won the Championship last year anyway. Now he's got the local "Opens" to enter, so hope he's lucky with them. (He won 2 last year).

Our own "Open" is first Monday in August - which he also won last year.
Fingers crossed for him again !!
