My son is begging to get his shots....

We have "school choice" here and we went to the school today for a presentation on their kindergarten. I already knew it is where I wanted to enroll him, but he is in love with the school too after seeing it. I could not complete his registration, however, because he has not had his 5 year old shots yet (he won't be 5 until AFTER the school year starts, I didn't realize they would make us get them early to enroll). He was willing to give up a trip to WDW tomorrow to go to the doctor and get his shots instead.

I actually had to sit down and convince him it would be fine that I call his doctor on Monday to schedule his shots to be done. He was worried he would not be able to go to kindergarten.

Awwww, I bet Aiden's going to have a ball in kindergarten! It'll be so much fun seeing him go off on his first day, although probably a little sad, too. It's an exciting time in his life (and yours, too!), isn't it?

Beware...my kindergartener threw away a 'yellow note' (naughty note) today. I saw the note from the teacher to "see yellow note". Ummm...no note. I asked ds where the yellow note was...he burst into tears and said, "I threw it away because I know you will be mad at me".

I had to send him to his room so I could laugh. It is not good, and he has to write an apology note to the girl he pinched and he didn't get to play tonight, but it was so cute they way he just busted out and hid his face in my tummy!

PS..the note was recovered in the garbage can outside the garage, lol!
