digskat--thanks for the info and tips for MVMCP. :goodvibes

Does anyone know what (or how many) days in Nov or even early Dec the party is normally held? Maybe we could do it the night before our "day off".

thanks. :hyper:

No probelm! When I called Disney the other day they do not have the dates yet, however they will likely release them on May 1 ~last year it was April 30. Just keep checking the boards here or www.allearsnet.com . I can't wait for May to come so I can start making arrangements for DDP!
Below are the dates from last year's MVMCP

2005 Dates!

Nov. 27 and 29, Dec. 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 11, 13, 15, 16, 18 (sold out!) and 20 (sold out!)

We are there every November...this year from the 5th-10th. We are an official Jersey Week family. Look out for all of us coming down for that week! :thumbsup2
Mhaley, What does Jersey Week mean for the crowds at WDW? Since you have done that week before I thought you would be the best person to ask! That is the week I am going this year! Thanks!

I have seen a couple people mention that because Thanksgiving is "early" this year that they may not have the party the Sunday directly after Thanksgiving. I hope that is not true!! I am so counting on going to that one! Everyone cross your fingers that they have one then!!!

We were at WDW during Jersey Week in 2005. While it was fairly busy in the afternoon's and evenings it was very quiet in the mornings. We used TGM touring plans and never waited in lines.

The worst day was our visit to MGM on the Saturday which was also the Soap Stars weekend. It was absolutely unbelievable. I have never been in a park so busy. You couldn't walk in a straight line for 10 feet. Admittedly the rides weren't terribly busy because most people were in line to meet soap stars but with 3 children and a stroller it was a nightmare. We left before noon and went swimming at the pool.

Thanks again, digskat and Momofmnm! I'll have to check out those links.

Anyone going in late November doing the CP at Epcot? Can't wait to see that! (Actually I can't wait to see Epcot for the first time, period. :rotfl: )
I wonder who the celebrity narrator will be? :scratchin

Yes we are hoping to do this too :) I had not been to Epcot in years and really enjoyed it this past October. I see you are staying at POFQ, we are too! Our dates are Nov 27-Dec 7, we are staying Nov 26 @ Pop I messed up on our travel dates. Do you know if we have to purchase additional tickets for CP? TTFN Kat

Seeing as how november is forever away, let's think ahead...

What ride/attraction are you looking forward to most this year?

Expedition Everest for us!!

I will be coming down with my cast of 8

Me and my DH and DD
My Parents
My Brother and His Girlfriend
My Grandma

At First it seamed so far away but I can not believe it is almost March already. Time is flying by.

Newbie question here:

When do the codes come out that will extend into Nov-Dec? I see there is much excitement on DIS over the code now, but they only go through the first of June.

Thanks!

Cool! :goodvibes I am so excited to be staying there. We'll be there from Nov 27-Dec 5. I don't think that you have to purchase tickets for the CP, alone. There is a standby line. If you purchase the dinner package then you'll need a ticket. I think it was in last August that they started selling the CP/dinner packages, which I believe guarantees you a seat. I'm hoping they still allow you to use the dining plan to help pay for it. I'm not sure when they'll start selling the CP/dinner packages this year since you can now make regular dinner resies or ps approx. 180 days ahead. :scratchin

I am looking forward to Philharmagic, kilamanjaro safaris, EE, Mission Space and Rockin Rollercoaster,.. :Pinkbounc All the stuff they don't have at DL -which will be a lot. he he
