My newly created website is not working. Maybe someone can tell me why?

I created a very simple website to post a downloadable link to my Disney Planner. I thought I did everything right, however it does not seem to be working. Does anyone have any idea how I can get it to work? The links are to excel spreadsheets that are stored on the website. I used Microsoft Word to create the index page and then I saved it as htm. I do not have Frontpage software. The website's address is http://members.home.net/kenhlene/ or http://members.home.net/kenhlene/index . Thanks for helping, I really appreciate this.

Add the correct file extentions and then change the URL's to reflect the proper file types. .xls files will open up in IE directly.

It seems to be working. Can someone try it and tell me if they are able to download the planner?
