My New Holiday Plans OK?

Hiya

Well after hastily cancelling virgin, I have now re booked our October 2007 trip.

We are now booked with Travel City Direct again (5 trips now) we are still going 4th October 07 from Manchester.

But because of the great price difference between virgin and tcd, we have upgraded to sunshine first (very good service we flew sunshine first in december).

But we are now staying at Pop Century instead of All Star Movies, Now we stayed in a prefferred room last year and it was right next door to the food court which was good but it was ages away from the car park, so we have opted not to book preffered this year in hope of getting close to the car park (with the shopping I get you dont to be lugging it through the car park!)

Any people who have stayed there which building do you suggest?

Also as this trip is planned so we can attend the halloween activities, I know that you can pre purchase mnsshp tickets (Around May 07) but can I pre purchase Universal halloween party tickets and busch gardens halloween tickets?

And a main question where am I gonna find something to dress up in lol

Anna I'm glad that you managed to get your trip sorted and re-booked. I decided to stay with Virgin, as it was more expensive for us to go with TCD!

I don't really know anything about the tickets as we've never been in Oct before. Next year will be out first time. However having lived over in CA for 10 years I do know that Halloween is a very big deal and you should be able to find loads of costumes in places like Walmart and the Halloween stores once you get over to Orlando. Hopefully someone who has actually been there at this time of year will be along to give you more info!

How would you rate TCD? And what is the sunshine service thingamy? We've always gone with Virgin in the past, but if i can squeeze a few extra £'s out of the budget i can spend it elsewhere on holiday!

Hi Anna,

I think your plans sound great I'm struggling to find a costume for this October but all the sites I look on...well lets just say that they're a bit on the risque side or they cover you head to toe which is no good for Florida heat . Good luck with your planning,

When are you going? we are the 7th to 28th Oct. We will DEf dress up for MNSSHP, DD4 will ring her Cruella outfit with her, we will buy cheap stuff in Walmart.

Just waiting on Oct hours now, to do really planning!

Anna - glad you are all sorted!! I have been a few times around Halloween - I would suggest Walmart for costumes - they have a great selection and they are not expensive!!!
