My Maleficent art. Your comments requested!

Howdy everyone,
I am really into Disney art (especially the villians) and was looking for a board to show some of it. Hopefully this is the right place and if not, anyone know of a good Disney board to display art on?

Anyway, Maleficent is my favorite Disney villain of all time. I just finished this up for an upcoming convention later this month. The Orlando Megacon. I will be a guest at that show and displaying my art.

This is a very different look at Mal....don't know if I am crazy about it...but I too just love the evil women....to me she looks more like the girl in Wicked...

So has Disney sanctioned you so you can advertise, and sell your work???

Glad you like my art! I drew Maleficent in my own art style but did "try" to remain respectful to the integrity of the character. I then scanned in the black & white image and colored it in Photoshop (V.7). Thanks for commenting!

Thanks! She is a great character, I love all the statues Disney puts out of her, but there isn't as much art as I would like to see on the market.

Thanks for commenting! It is a VERY tricky thing when you take an established character and do (draw) that character in your own art "style". I gave it a shot.
