We will be at WDW for a week in April. As of now the park opens at 8; before when I have gone it opens at 7 so I'm ready for that too. It's just DH and I this trip. This is our 15th trip and we have done everything at least once so nothing is a "must do" but I have a lot of "want to dos".
First day is a Thursday; as per custom, we go at rope drop and head to Fantasyland and ride Peter Pan, Pooh, Dumbo, Small World and see Philharmagic. I have a 10:30 fastpass at BTMRR and an 11:30 at Splash. Hopefully we can fit in Buzz Lightyear as well and whatever else isn't crazy. At point we will either eat and leave. We have a 6:20 reservation at BOG so we will come back, and then I got a FP to watch MSEP in the preferred viewing area. Hopefully we can see Wishes. I don't do Space Mt. anymore.
The second day is a Tuesday, again, park opens at 8 or maybe 7. We don't have to rush there this day but we can if we want to. I have a 9:40 at HM and a 10:45 at Splash. We have an 8PM reservation at O'hana, so I booked a 9:40-10:40 FP to the Mine Train (I haven't ridden it at night). Plenty of time for a midday break and any other ride we want to wait for.
I know these aren't the best MK days but every day over spring break is crowded. This is a good way for me to deal with it. We also have two Epcot days planned, one studio day, one AK day (maybe--that may turn into a pool day) and celebrating Easter at TL.

I think if you go into that trip with that attitude you will have a wonderful time. The only thing I would even remotely suggest is if you want to hit rope drop on day two and hit tomorrowland and adventureland, you should be able to breeze thru there. Our experience is that everyone rushes to fantasyland and the other areas are walk on for the first couple of hours. That is how we tend to get repeat rides on some of the other lands
