We'll be staying at AKV from 1/10-1/18. We plan to cook and/or eat quite a bit in our villa, since we have a full kitchen. My mom, sister, and I all really like to cook, so it's not a big burden, plus we'd like to save some money and not have to eat out with three kids three times a day (the last is the biggest reason). However, we'd also like to experience some of the great Disney dining.
Right now, we have 3 ADRs:
Wednesday, the 13th: Akershus (have to hit the Princesses at least once, and the food looks much better here than CRT), for dinner
Friday, the 15th, dinner for DH and I only at California Grille
Saturday, the 16th: lunch at Biergarten (think everyone will enjoy this)
My general plan is to get breakfast fixings so we can eat before we leave most days, eat lunch at QS most days in the park before heading back for a nap/break, and eat 4 dinners in the room.
However, I know that might change and we might want to catch some more TS meals. My family thinks I'm a Disney planning Nazi, so I have to be careful about how much planning I do...we'd all prefer not to be completely tied to ADRs. I'd like to get a Boma breakfast, and we also might want to grab a couple other table service meals-possibly a 50s prime time lunch, for instance, or dinner at the Moroccan restaurant.
So, any feedback? Are we going to be screwed in January without more ADRs?
