Oh wow - what a timely thread!
I am trying...no I am GOING to lose 60 pounds this year. I have already lost 10, so I am very encouraged, but sometimes, looking at how far there is to go is so disheartening. (especially since I was just 20 pounds from my goal weight when I fell last summer, and my doctor forbid me to even walk on my treadmill, because I couldn't hold on, and if I fell again I could have ended up permanently disabled, and I gained 40 pounds in 6 months

Anyway, I'm on my dinner break and they're serving chicken and dumplin's in the cafeteria, which are to die for.
I was so tempted, but I read this thread, and the stories of your successes inspired me to be strong and eat the healthy dinner I brought and stay away from the carb and calorie-laden comfort food.

I was thinking the very negative "well, it's SO many months before my goal can be reached anyway, just eating this one thing won't be such a big deal" but I know it is. And every day, there is something new to tempt.
I guess I need to visit the WISH board, too, but I'll try to keep up with this thread. It is easier when someone is in that same boat with you.
