My friends think i'm daft!

Found a website that gives me a countdown to when we fly, so have got it set as my homepage! I now know exactly how long til we fly in days, in hours, in minutes and in seconds! Told my friend, but as she has never been to WDW she doesn't get it! Someone reassure me on here that I am normal! :rotfl:

Me too a little box at the top of my screen says 36 weeks 2 days 10 hours 31mins and 56, 55, 54 ... seconds :rotfl:

Hi

My friends and family think at my age(47) I should know better:confused3.

But some of them have never been to Disney. I've done 4 trips now and can't wait to go again. I've always wanted to go to Disney when I was a wee girl, but we could never afford to go away on holidays. We were lucky if we got a day trip out to Great Yarmouth in the six weeks we had in the summer school holidays.

I took my first trip to Disney when I was 39 yrs old, and I've now completed 4 of the most enjoyable trips I ever had in my life time so far. Due to various things I have'nt been able to go for the last 5 years, and I miss it so much. But fingers cross I'll be going in January 2010 on my 2nd solo trip for 3 weeks:scared1:.

My mate at work went in February 09 after we had a conversation one lunch time at work in September last year. And she thoroughly enjoyed their 3 week stay. Her husband and son even got locked in at the Florida Mall on the first Sunday they were there. She's now planning to go again in Feb 2010, taking her sister and her family with them staying in villa.

I think unless someone has been they just don't get it:confused3. When I'm talking about Disney to anyone my whole attitude changes and I get this permanent grin on my face:goodvibes, I just can't get enough of it.

My friends and family think I'm a bit potty too (they'd be right, mind you) :lmao:

This next trip will be my 4th, and definitely won't be my last! I've been lucky enough to visit lots of other places too, but there's nowhere I want to go AS MUCH as WDW! My first trip was when I was 30!

My man has never been... and told me the other day "I don't do excited about holidays until I'm getting on the plane" :scared1: When we booked to go to WDW next April I was bouncing around the room like Tigger... :cheer2: I have a countdown on my desktop too, as well as my ticker on here - 315 days, 15 hours, 56 minutes, 28 seconds :cool1:

I have told him that I'll wait for him to tell me "this is the best holiday I've ever had" when we finally get there! ;) Mind you, since I got the Brit's Guide, dug out some old DVDs and photos, and started looking at menus and park maps, he's getting quite into it! ;)

It's my happy place, and it always will be, whether my family and friends tell me it would be their idea of hell or not!
