It starts April 10th at the Grand Californian villas (studio). Any tips about which studio I should ask for? I downloaded the info about the room numbers for each floor for the studios and am not sure if I should try for the top one and work my way down :-)

Anytime anyone mentions the VGC I feel like a broken record because all I ever say is how much I Love it!!! :lovestruc Our very first DVC was at the VGC last June and it was simply amazing! :cool1: We requested high floor, theme park view and that was exactly what we got. We overlooked Paradise Pier and could see WOC of color from our balcony although definately a side view, it needs to be experienced head on, but it was awesome nonetheless. However the sights and sounds of DCA right out your door adds to the ambiance. You should go over the the DLR portion of these boards as there is great advice for your trip there!

Have a Magical Vacation! :goodvibes

Our trip begins April 10th as well... However, we will be more then across property from you, we will be across country.

I don't have an VGC advice, we have never stayed there. We really enjoy DL and I am sure it will be an awesome time!

Sorry no tips from me, I have not been there yet. Sounds like fun, enjoy your membership! :goodvibes I can't wait until we get out to California and Hawaii to try DVC things on the left coast!!

We will be there a week after you. Last year we were there in the summer and had a great theme park view room from the 5th floor. I've heard with all the construction at DCA, the theme park views may not be exactly what they were even a year ago. I'd say high floor is a must more than ever. I was really thinking of asking for one of the few pool view rooms this year for a change.

BTW, we love it there. No buses!:thumbsup2
