Just got my first cast-iron 6qt Dutch Oven cooking pot. It is big and heavy and cooks meals so wonderfully. I have been reminded a few times that cast-iron heats ALL THE WAY THROUGH. :headache: It was a small splurge, but I love it. Who’d of thought a piece of cookware could bring me such joy

I use my cast iron daily and have for about 25 years. I have a 5 qt dutch oven a 4 qt chicken fryer a 10 inch fry pan and a small fry pan that belonged to my Dh's grandmother that is about 100 years old and still looks (and cooks) great.
I wouldn't be without them!

I wouldn't be able to lift them!I have a small casserole - for 2-3 people max - and that is enough!
