Woke up at 3:30 and could never go back to sleep.
Dropped DS10 and his friend off at my sister's church to do egg hunt. Ran by Wal-green's to get coffee, and charcoal.
Coming in the door, I see dogs have escaped from their room (not good, they tend to think the house is their bathroom when they do this.), so I'm hurrying in the house to seek out if I have any "cleaning" to do. DS10 has left his scooter semi in the path I'm taking, I'm in flip flops and I trip over the scooter and slice underneath my "pinky" toe wide open. So now, I have to get the dogs in their room, wash my toe like crazy with soap and water. By now, I'm flipping out. Make oldest son get out of bed to "Doctor" me up. Really weird for it seem to be just pouring blood, but as soon as I had son look at it, almost completely stops.
I put meds and a big bandage on it (now that's a challenge in itself putting a bandage on a toe).
Glad DS10 is hunting at church, because we were going to do one at home when he got back, but I guess not now.
So, I am like fuming and of course placing blame between the dogs and DS10, but had to reflect what today is and is about and my problem seems very petty.
But, I will be informing DS10, if that scooter ends up in my way again, it's in the trash.
