My DS's baseball practice starts on Friday!

Hello! It's still February! I can't believe they are starting so soon. The first game isn't until the second week of April.

My husband can't wait. He is so excited it tickles me. My DS is 9 and has been working on his pitching but he normally plays on 3rd.

We've already had 4 practices and another on Friday. Feels like they're pushing it to me.

We've had 6 indoor practices already and will probably have our first outdoor practice this weekend. I take it your son is on a travel team.

There are some travel teams in our area that practice and play year round.

Oh Lori, I wish our program would start soon. My son's been walking around the house with his glove on for weeks! He'll be 10 this summer; his favorite position is catcher. We still have 8 inches of snow on the ground, but we are looking into some indoor programs (Frozen Ropes) to get him going.

We have our DDs in Fast Pitch Soft Ball League this year. DD (6) was supposed to have her first practice Monday<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/18/18_7_11.gif' border=0></a>, but it was cancelled due to weather. DD (9) is supposed to have practice tonight; I don't think it will cancel unless the weather comes in this afternoon. This Saturday SSB has opening ceremonies and games for both DD (9, softball), and DS (8, coach pitch/combo) ... they have been practicing a few weeks now.

Luckily in Orlando... ALL outside...

Pete is 7 and we had tryouts two weeks ago and practice starts on Monday! Incidentially, $ 95.00 registration fee to play Spring Ball. Still haven't factored in new equipment, trophies, pictures, etc.

Yeah-my DS is play HS baseball-our first game is Sat morning-in COLORADO in FEBRUARY-I can't tell you how I am looking forward to that-NOT
