I think your plan is feasible. Everyone's situation is different, but if you believe that you want to travel to Disney on a regular basis and want to stay onsite DVC is a good way to do it. If you want to buy small contracts at a time that seems a good way to do it if you don't want the heavier cost of larger contract. Actually I think it may be a smart way to go. If you decide it isn't for you, small contracts seem to sell easier for a higher price than larger contracts. If you do like it, a few years from now buy more, sounds like a good idea to me.

We just bought a 50pt resale for OKW because of the small pt requirement there and the 2 beds in the studio. It is so great know that we can go every year sun to thurs or bank and go every other for a bigger trip.

Also, thanks to those who mentioned the CH, I had no idea about this (haven't made our first trip home yet) and I am very excited about having it. I don't want to spend every waking min at the parks and I really think my DS (8) and DD (5) will really have a great time there.

We are also planning on getting the 10 day hopper especially now that I know about the CH for the kids. I think we'll be able to get 2 1/2 trips out of the 10 day.
