I had to call to get them to link it on their side. Couldn't get my AP to link properly ...
I figured I'd probably have to do something like that. Ugh, I hate using the phone. lol

So I "deactivated" the two KTTW cards MDE had associated with our account from our stay in March 2013 (located under the "my MB & cards" section)...however it STILL says we've got two 2 day park tix attached to our account as well. I KNOW we used those days up. So why are they still there (under "my tickets & reservations")? Free gift from the Disney glitch fairy? Cause i swear I'll use them if the incompetents over in the IT department insist on leaving it there.
For some reason used tickets stay in your account. You can call to have them removed or just ignore them. Do they show up under past or used tickets? There is a tab there in the drop down box where you can view old tickets?
I suspect that when you add your ticket to MDE even if you've used all the days in there it has been programmed to keep it because although it knows your trip is over, it can't actually 'read' if you have days left on it and this is to avoid having non expiring tickets disappearing after a trip when there are still park days left on them. It's just a guess but it's what I had assumed.
Okay, so apparently my seasonal pass shows under "Affiliations" on the APP, but not on the actual site. #WhiskeyTangoFoxtrot
I would still call and make sure its all together properly.
I went through the process of booking FP+s online, then when I called in, it turned out that 2 of the people in the group, their tickets weren't actually linked to their MBs ... so I was booking FPs on an MB without tickets and so their FPs weren't ACTUALLY booked.
I would just make sure everything is all associated properly.
Quick update:
As of today, Disney still has not added our 6th family member to our MDE.
On the other side of the fence, Universal came out with AP rates today, lowering our nightly stay at Royal Pacific to $184 per night. I called to see if I could get the rate applied. I was on hold for about 3 seconds, and by the end of the pleasant 2 minute phone call, I had already received an updated email confirmation reflecting our new rate.
Just sayin'.
Out of curiosity, which AP for Uni do you have? Because that's a pretty sweet stinkin' deal. lol
I have the Preferred AP. Yeah, it's an awesome deal! It was originally $209 with the discount, then dropped to $184.
That's awesome! I may consider a Universal AP in the future.
Totally worth it.
I think the pass itself was like $280. Renewal is about $160. Always have resort discounts, food discounts, merchandise discounts.
I love WDW like nothing else, but $700 for an AP now? Yeah - No thank you.
That's why I went with the seasonal pass and the monthly payments. I live in Florida, but I don't get up enough to really warrant a full AP. If I lived closer than 3 hours away, then I probably might have.
The UOR pass though, damn that almost seems too good to pass up. lol Maybe next year.
I live 3 hours away by plane and I renew my Universal AP every year. They also have the monthly payment program.
UT tickets should arrive in the next couple of days. I can't decide if I should link them or just sit on it all until 180 days out, give or take, for when I make ADRs. Do I even want to do this? Is it possible to call Disney Dining anymore, talk to a human, make the ADRs, and NOT link them to anything? Not even to my MDE account? Honestly, this is already more stress and bother and work, and my enthusiasm for what was supposed to be a dream vacation as a family is already waning. If I can't even order a stupid band in a selected color with a specific name on it, how am I going to add ADRs, manage FP+, etc.? If the DVC reservation wasn't paid for, we'd not be going
especially when I see I could get annual passes to Universal for what I paid for 5 days (no hopping) at Disney.
is not a banana!!
