My Disney experience app/fastpass+

Ok. I linked my tickets and pressed the make fastpass+ selections but nothing comes up. I know my reservation is not until August and too far away to make FP+ selections, but I thought I could at least see how it works. A friend of mine can see the FP+ options and he doesn't even have reservations! Any reason why??

You cannot do any fastpass+ choices until 60 days from arrival. The exception, and one your friend may have, is to have an annual pass that has already been activated, with which you can make FP+ reservations continuously for the next 60 days from any given day you go on-line, and you don't even need a resort reservation linked in the MDE to do that.
