I just finished all of my dinner PM's today, and I'm so excited!!! Only a little more than a month away from our trip. My husband and I will be traveling with another couple, good friends and this will be their first trip. We tried to cut a balance between fun and quality. We haven't figured out all of our lunches yet, so if we've missed any biggies in your book, let me know!

Arrival day- dinner at O'Hana's

1st day- lunch at Tusker House or Flame Tree (which ever is closer when we get hungry) and dinner at Boma's

2nd day- breakfast at Cindy's Royal Table, lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern, and dinner at the Hoop De Doo Revue

3rd day- lunch at Epcot (any suggestions? counter or full service...) and dinner at the Rose and Crown as part of the Candlelight Processional

4th day- lunch at MGM (probably Mama Melrose) and dinner at Spoodles (date night- other couple is going to Artist Point, but we wanted tapas)

5th day- lunch??? (not sure what park we'll be at) and dinner at Kona Cafe before MVMCP

Departure day- breakfast at Boatwright's and lunch at DTD (any suggestions here would be great too).

Thanks in advance! :sunny:

As for lunch on your third day, I would recommend Le Cellier's! Their Cheddar Cheese soup is wonderful! :)

I second the recommendation of Le Cellier for lunch on your third day. However, if you're looking for something lighter before dinner at the Rose and Crown, and you like sushi, I'd recommend the Matsu No Ma lounge in the Japan pavillion. The lounge is really nice, with a great view of World Showcase. It's very relaxing with a nice adult atmosphere. :)

I agree about the cheese soup at Canada. Yummy!

May I ask about day2? That seems like a lot of food for one day. I enjoy eating, but you have 3 expensive meals planned for the same day. You don't want to be too full and miss out on dessert. JMHO

:teeth:

I was thinking the same thing about day 2 as RumpleMom.
As much as I like to eat(gained 7 lbs on my last trip), if we are doing a big breakfast and a big dinner, usually we just have an icecream for lunch...and we really arent even hungry for that. I cant imagine doing an all you can eat breakfast & lunch, and then going to HDD for another AYCE meal. I would skip lunch that day since Id want to be hungry for the HDD(love the food there!). However if you are the type that wont eat much at the AYCE meals(I cant control myself, LOL), then 3 might be good to try out more places. ;)

double ditto the day two concerns...

another thought for lunch at epcot the day of rose and crown... depending on what time your r&c ps is, how 'bout ice cream social at the garden grill instead of lunch?

DTD we enjoyed planet hollywood (and our package came w/wishes/choices/whatever they are called so we had a $25 gift cert for ph)

ENJOY!

Thanks for all of your replies. I agree- day 2 does look a bit extreme. These were all places that my friend wanted to make sure we went to, but I might shift things around a bit and do LTT on a different day.

I haven't been to Le Cellier yet, but I did make the cheese soup from the recipe that they published in the Disney Mag.- it was excellent. Actually, we might split up that day for lunch, depending. My friends are big sushi eaters (I'm not), so I point point them toward Japan- thanks BeamsofLight.
