My dilemma:

Back in October I took my family, my parents and my in-laws to Port Orleans. I booked 3 rooms (one room in MY NAME and the other rooms in their names) and paid for them all. Now, I just received 2 PINS in the mail but they are not IN MY NAME. Disney will not let me use the pins even though we all travelled together and I paid for the whole vacation! I am so angry and frustrated that I will spend my hard earned money on something other than Disney for my next vacation. And before you start saying, "well it isn't in YOUR name", please understand I PAID FOR THE ENTIRE TRIP.

I know how frustrating this is! I received 2 Pins in the past 2 months to my email address, but with my mother's name. And yes, I paid for the entire trip last time too! I hear ya!

I'm sorry! I would keep calling back until I got a CM that will do it.

I sympathize with your frustration. And while I completely get that this is a business under no obligation to offer discounts to anyone and everyone, it does seem reasonable that if someone receives an offer then he or she should be able to use it so long as the allotted number of rooms/packages hasn't been exceeded.

I knew this year that we wouldn't go if we didn't receive a pin. It so happens that we did but I was ready to spend my vacation dollars elsewhere.

I spoke to one CSR and her supervisor and they were both steadfast that it was not in my name so nothing they can do. Have you had this issue and were you able to find a CSR to process the pin>

Well, that's when you go into "Pin Commando" mode and start registering multiple email accounts, ordering multiple planning DVDs, and exploring multiple trip options on their website.

I received a pin NOT in my name.... I called and the CM said that because it is my address that I could use it... I would call back and try again....

Really? Do you remember the CMs name? I will have to try this again.

I would just hold out General public discounts have been as good as if not better than PINs lately, just PINs come out a bit earlier.
