My crazy obsession TLC

Has anyone seen the Mickey episode? I'm sure it is a rerun but it's the first time I'd seen it.

It was just on. Lady had an awesome MIckey Mouse collection 5,000 pieces + and had actually moved from Puerto Rico to Celebration, FL to be closer.

I think I love this lady. She and I could be such great friends. It was so awesome.

Wonder if she's on the boards?

I haven't seen it - but I could TOTALLY be her (but my husband would probably divorce me haha). I have convinced him to move to Kissimmee... next step Celebration!

I don't think this lady is on the DISboards. I actually work with her daughter, who says that the episode was cut in such a way that she seemed a little more "obsessive" than she really was...however, yes, her mother LOVES Mickey Mouse and did move to Celebration to be closer to DW.

I thought her collection was AWESOME!!! I would love to look at the whole book of paper things that she has collected with mickey on them.

Yeah I didn't think it was "a crazy obsession" in comparison to some other stuff they've shown. (Can you say french kissing and making out with a car????BIzarro) I just really thought she had some super cool stuff in her collection.

And I totally love that her hubby indulges her with it for the most part. My DH doesn't at all. He tolerates Disney at best and only goes occassionally because the kids and I love it so much. He's missed our last couple of trips. Hopefully he will go with us in June.

I saw it tonight and thought it was a great collection! Kudos to the husband for understanding and respecting her "obsession" for so many years.

Yes. I've only caught it a couple of times. Once was the guy who was in an "intimate" relationship with his car. Another was a lady obsessed with sniffing baby powder. And then this one. So yeah compared to those two I wasn't getting why this was so weird either.

The really weird stuff is "My strange Addition" Those are the shows about people who drink gas, nail polish, etc. I cannot watch these shows!

This one was "My strange Obsession" which are OK. Her collection was awsome!

The eating polish/rubber/husband's ashes is "My Strange Addiction"...."My Crazy Obsession" is more along the lines of non-lethal to the human body, like doll collections and Dolly Parton costumes.

That was fun to watch! Thanks for posting the link. I saw that she has alot of the same things I have. Villains are my first love, but Mickey is a close second.
