My co-worker is a fountain of misinformation!! 5/14 the day has come page 130

At least she gave the bride and groom something. I had several wedding crashers who not only complained about there not being enough seats and complained about the food, but they didn't even bother to give us a gift. Not even a cheap dollar store picture frame.

Anyway, thanks for the thread. It gives me something to laugh about at work!

I've been lurking on this thread for awhile, this is great. I've learned so much from Miss Information, now I need to go out and hire a bouncer for my wedding. :lmao:

yep.. since I am going to crash yours... I will give you a heads up. I want the beef:lmao: :lmao:

Words fail me with this woman's antics! I seriously do not know how she got as far in life as she has. I'm surprised no one has put her out of her misery permanently by now.:sad2:

OMG!!!

What a fruit cake
I think that about sums it up. :thumbsup2

I have dealt with my fair share of stupid people before, but this lady far out does them! I think she is in need of a few anonymous emails with the Etiquette Hell link. Speficially links to the Tacky Guests section.

Saint Evil Genius, it does have an interesting ring to it!!:lmao:

OHHH she has a family thing at her house coming up on August 11th. Anyone want to go??

If I weren't getting married that day... Though I suppose I shouldn't mention that, she may just bring her party to my wedding.

Seriously this woman is deranged. I read your posts and think "this has to be made up, no real person is like this." But they are! Oy!

Craig, you're getting married on August 11? That will be my 17th wedding anniversary! Great day to get married! ;)

Evil Genius ...... this woman is unreal! I had no idea such people existed! Around here it's common for people to turn up at churches to watch weddings, but they sit in the back (if there's room - otherwise they lurk unobstrusively outside - they just want to see the bride), and they don't go to the reception!!!! Wow! :sad2:

Wow, I cannot believe she had the nerve to go. I wonder how her Dh felt....

Well now I should always remember yours. (Or I'll be in trouble.)

What a popular day for a wedding! We're going to a wedding that day, too.

One of my co-workers is getting married that day as well.

August 11th is my 17th wedding anniversary as well. Happy wedding day to you, Craig and RUDisney ...and Happy Anniversary to U2_rocks!

Wow, that's really cool!! Happy Anniversary to you too!

It's also an important day for us b/c we had our second child on that day in 2001!

I have been reading this thread for months and kept thinking I know someone like her and it just hit me, my step-brothers wife. I don't know her that well, but from what my mother and step-dad have said of her.

My two favorite stories:

My mom was building a new house and my step-sister-in-law actually asked if anything ever happened to my Mom and Step-Dad if she could have the house! Never mind I'm around, but also another step-brother.

Another time when my step-dad was getting ready to leave for Iraq she actually asked if she could have his Harley if something happened to him over there.

My parents have actually said if they go to dinner with her, they are not to leave the table at the same time because they are afraid she might poison the food or something.

There are some strange people out there.

What a nut job! Heck, he should have told her no, I want to be buried with it.

I've been lurking around here too for awhile. Always makes my day when she does something new.
Reading these reminded me about what a neighbor once said to us. Not as good as her though. We were in the middle of packing up a UHaul with all our stuff and the guy comes over and says, " Are you moving?" My DH said he was very tempted to say, " Nah we just felt like packing our whole house up and putting it on the truck just for the heck of it"

Hi,

It's too bad that these MissInformations jumped into the gene pool and liked the water. On second thought, without them this thread would not exist.

When we were applying to the INS to be allowed to adopt our kids, we were standing in line at 6:30 a.m. in Philadelphia. The line had already turned the corner because of law changes for foreign nationals. This man walks up and asks an immigration atty if this is the line to get into the INS building. The lawyer says, "no, we heard that they're giving out free hot dogs in a little while. We're waiting for those." The man harumphed and walked to the end of the line. So, it wasn't the most respectful answer, but at the time it was funny.

I have a Miss Miserable at work.

We got a letter in from a customer thanking us for all our hard work with her and her party (300 guests!) last week. The manager read it out and everyone was really pleased that the customer had taken the time to write to us - except her. She said "I should think so too!". Umm hello? :confused3 You're PAID to do this job. All we did was our job. It was nice that our efforts were appreciated by the customer enough that she took the time to write in!

I also had a customer that I needed to sign something, so I grabbed the pen next to me. Standard biro. She snatched it out of my hand and hissed, "NO, that's MY pen.".

I had to go find another pen! There was nothing distinctive about this pen! If I hadn't had a customer there I would have said something immediately. Unfortunately her shift finished and she left before I had finished with the customer, so I was unable to approach her on it. I did tell my manager that I wasn't prepared to be spoken to like that (I am a temp, she is permenant). They apologised on her behalf (which they needn't do) and said that they had a number of issues to take up with this particular employee...:rolleyes1

You know, where I work they give the line "Well, we have had a number of issues with this employee" when someone reports a particular problem employee. Last time management said that to me, I replied "Well, then why is she still an employee?"
