keeps climbing behind the entertainment center and pushing the power strip button turning the television and all the other electronics off. It's a pain in the butt to get to and turn back on. Then I have to restart everything and wait for them to set. The only one who has an easy time reaching this stuff is the cat.

I think your cat is telling you that you should turn off that tv and read more. Things like nice, crinkly newspaper.

oh yeah he loves when I read, anything. He ignores me unless I try to read or go on the computer, then he puts his butt in my face.

Cats seem to want to be in places where there's a lot of wires- where they can unplug and pull them out- its really annoying! lol

I know you didn't really ask for suggestions but what about putting a small peice of electrical tape over the switch so kitty can't shut it off? We had to do this for the switch in the hallway which the kids kept inadvertently shutting off. It was connected to the bedroom and the lights and stuff would shut off.

my friend had the same problem with her cat so we put duct tape over the switch so it would stay on. Worked like a charm
