My little fat Gray manx Io is missing. She has been gone almost three days. I feel so bad because I had been on here grumping about pet care costs just a few days ago. But, I didn't mean Io! Any of the others I would gladly give to someone I knew would give them a good home. But not Io, she is my favorite. I can't believe this, but I am so upset I am crying. I never cry.

This happened to my kitty Wrangler a couple years ago. He disappeared around Thanksgiving, and after three days I knew we'd lost him. A couple of days later, my neighbor across the street returned home from vacation, opened his garage and heard a cat meowing. Wrangler had wandered into his garage and got suck in a spa that he'd been storing in there. Poor thing was starving and thirsty, but otherwise fine and very happy to see us! I hope that your kitty is ok. Can you have your neighbors check around their houses?

:grouphug: I hope you find your furbaby soon!

Oh I hope your kitty finds her way home :guilty:
As ChrisnSteph above said..all too often they get themselves into a spot or place they cannot get out of..make sure you go out around the neighbourhood and knock on doors as ask people as well as call her name. You just might hear a familiar meow..

Years ago my kitty got out and went into someones garage and was gone for a week...we did find him...thinner and thristy..but he was allright.

Many good wishes that your kitty comes home too soon!!!! I know how worried you feel...hang in there

I hope you find your kitty soon.

Does your cat like closets? If so, check them often. My oldest cat went missing a few years ago for about 4 days during the hot summer. No one had seen her or heard her for days. She loves closets, if you open one she must go in. So we checked every closet in the house a bunch of times. No sign of her. When we just about gave up hope I checked an upstairs closet one last time. Lo and behold there she was. She strolled out meowing and acted as if it was ok that she was missing. (Dumb cat) So we gave her food and water and now she is just fine. She is actually 15 and doing quite well. We just won't let her near closets anymore. Good luck!

I know how you feel my DH left ours out 2 years ago...never came back(we have cyotoes(sp) here...I put up signs, asked neighbors etc...I hope yours is found

Just like another person posted our cat was in our neighbors garage
for 3 days.

I hope that your cat comes home soon. We have 2 cats and 3 dogs (my dad is waiting for the 2 zebras and 2 giraffes to show up before he builds the ark..). One of the cats got out one time chasing away a stray who was at the window bothering him. He was gone for about an hour and that had to be the longest hour I have experienced.

Good Luck.

Did he get out accidentally or he's an outdoor cat? Praying he comes home soon. Definitely look for him, put up signs, call the police and local shelter and local vets.
