first let me say we have been to disney many times (daughter's first trip) and this is the only trip i can say that the cm's were the rudest i have every been around. i was very disappointed in more than 3 of them, i expect rudenst at wal-mart but i did not at disney!
other than that we had the best time ever, we drove down oct 1 and spent the night in lake city,fl got up the next morning and drove to pop century. we have never stayed on site and i loved it, we will only stay onsite from now on! check in was about an hour, told room would be ready around 3 ,looked around and ate there , ( i wil try to post a food report). checked at 2 and our room was ready Yeah! 50's bottom floor room 1101 perfect for us, i didn't think the room was bad at all and no one was on the other side of us so it was not loud at all.
we got cleaned up and had ps at chef mickey's we have never been there, by this time my daughter was soo excited. we got there late and were seated within 5 mins, the look on my daughter's face was priceless, she loved it. of course i heard the food was not good and i have to agree but the characters make up for it if you ask me! this started day one of me looking at my daughter and just crying! so far this is the only reason i see not to go to disney while you are preganant, because everything she did made me cry! after we ate hopped over to the magic kingdom to see the parade and wishes, at least that was the plan our daughter had another, to ride rides! so for an hour she rode the teacups about 5 times, and she does not understand that they have to close so if you saw a little girl with big bows in her hair each night at closing screaming and crying like someone was hurting her that was us! this is my first day report sorry it is soo long i will combine the others.... so far the most comfortable place to sit is in the bricks in front of the teacups because that is the only place we were......!

I was there at POP the same time you were. I checked in Saturday October 2. Check in did take awhile, but not 1 hour. We went to Chef Mickey's very early in the am (7am after a drive over from Daytona Beach!! very early!!). Then rode the monorail around once from Contemporary and then drove over to POP. So we were there 9:30 or 10am. Iwaited about 25 minutes in line. Our room wasn't ready, but we walked around the resort first before heading over to Epcot. That took awhile. Then I went to my car to move it over to 50's parking....and just for hoo haas I called the front desk, and my room was ready! We were 3rd floor 50's building, lake view. (or actually.....it was a tree view....) there was a big ol tree right outside our door and window...we had to walk over to see the lake...

I loved POP. The last time at WDW I stayed Yacht Club (very nice), but having the Food Court was awesome....very good benefit of the value resort.

It was a quick trip for us and we checked out on the following Tuesday....when did you leave....

It was way to soon to leave!

we left oct 9th around 9 in the morning. we checked in around noon that saturday and it took right at an hour, they were bumping people up in line to a better hotel if you were only there for a night or two, they said they were overbooked! i was surprised that our room was ready too! and we loved staying there we will for sure be back!:earsgirl:
