That is the only thing that will get you banned...I doubt the dog has particpated in something like that so there is probably something else going on. I don't think it is against the rules to have a username for your dog. I could be wrong.

If you are unsure as to why you were banned, talk to the Mods directly. Almost certainly you violated the DIS rules, even if not intentionally.

I got banned once for 5 minutes. I did nothing wrong---made one comment I guess that upset a poster. I promptly e-mailed the mod and explain....the ban was lifted. Not sure if it was a knee-jerk banned...but my heart sunk when I tried getting on and saw.....BANNED! or whatever it says. It's been a while and I forget.
