appetizer= canadian cheddar soup w/ pretzel bread

meal= Filetw/ mushroom risotto @ LeCellier

dessert= peanut butter cupcake @ starring rolls

snack= main st. double choco. muffin

yummmmm.........I cant wait to get there, my DD9 is tired of hearing me say how much I'm looking foward to Chedder Cheese Soup from Le Cellier. She asked "are you and Dad just excited about the food?" :rotfl2:

Lecellier's filet and cream cheese mashed potatoes, chocolate peanut butter cupcake from Starring Rolls, you can also get this cupcake from Disneyquest

Hm, that's a toughie...

I'd have to go with:
  • App: Aracini (Via Napoli & Citricos), Tavern Fried Cheese (LTT Lunch), Tomato Salad (Jiko), Bobotie Spring Rolls (Jiko)
  • Entree: Filet with Macaroni and Cheese (Jiko, no longer offered with the mac and cheese :(), Buffalo Tenderloin (Artist Point), Filet (Citrico's)
  • Dessert: Chocolate Whiskey Cake (Le Cellier), White Chocolate Mousse (San Angel Inn), Warm Banana Torte (Citrico's), Banana Napolean (Yachtsman), Chocolate Chambord Cake (Maya Grill, too bad it's about the only thing that I feel is worth it there :()

Welcome to the DIS, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with being excited about the food :p. That's about half of the reason I go!

Salmon at the Norway restaurant (won't even think about spelling it) it was the best I've ever had! :goodvibes

I am not a big steak eater, and I totally enjoy most of all, the the Fillet at Le Cellier. And the cheese soup.

'Ohana! Everything! The chicken and steak were awesome! The noodles... Oh my goodness! The bread, the potstickers... Mmmm. Oh, and the banana bread pudding. I normally don't care for desserts unless they are chocolate. All I can say is WOW.

Thanks... now I'm hungry! ;)

@Havana.. sorry, didn't mean to quote your post. :)

WELCOME TO THE BOARDS...

I love anything and everything as long as I dont cook it or clean up after it.

Seriously though
in Epcot..
I love the filet and the cheddar cheese soup in Le Cellier.
Also the Potato leek soup at Biergarten with all the rest of
the food...YUMMY..

and tell your DD that YES it is about the food and fun and sun and being at a great place with your family (or alone)........anytime anywhere.

have fun planning

It has been a few years so it might not be as good anymore, but it was the paremesan mashed potatoes at chef mickeys.

Also, nothing beats having an ice cream sandwich from the main street bakery while watching a parade.

oops! forgot:

Pistaccio creme brulee at Jiko's
Macadamia nut pancakes at Kona Cafe
Anything at Blue Zoo!!!
Peanut Butter & Jelly milkshake at 50's Prime time Cafe

I'll stop there... I'm getting hungry

Seems like I am always biased towards my last trip but our meal at Kouzzina's last summer was one of the best I have had at WDW. We had an appitizer of flat breads and dips of humus, a yogurt sauce, and a third I can't remember right now. I had the Fishermans stew with crab, mussels, shrimp and fish, and wife had marinated flank steak. For dessert she had a chocolate molten cake and I had ouzo. One of the best meals we have had at WDW.

Second was probably Ragland Road the first year it was open. I don't remember the details but rather the overall experience of the food, the beer and the atmosphere. It was great.

And our most consistant meal over the years has always been Wolfgang Puck's. We never make an ADR but wind up eating there every year and it has not once been a let down. The food is always great and we always start with a sushi roll or two.

Welcome to the boards fellow Texan.

Pork Tenderloin with creamy polenta at California Grill.

Rice Creme at Norway bakery.

French Toast Loaf from the Main St. Bakery ( they no longer serve this).

These are my never fail to impress me, I still enjoy them after all these years!

Le Cellier, yes even with all of the hype, I thouroughly enjoy the filet w/ mushroom risotto, but I share it with my son, because we both must have a bowl of the cheese soup! I've been going there since it opened and it never disapoints!

As far as a snack, I love the salty, buttery goodness of Disney Popcorn, there's nothing like it and then the other is at Epcot, the French bakery, love the creme brulee.

Favorite "alcoholic" drink, Epcot, Italian kiosk, Frozen Italian Margarita, it's made with grappa and lemoncello liquor. It's so refreshing!

Favorite "non alcoholic" drink, Dole Float at MK

Honorary mention, not healthy at all but at MK they have Casey's Hot Dog Nuggets, tasty!

My favorite is a little more simple than everyone else's. I absolutely love the rice krispie mickey ears dipped in chocolate. They are a must-have whenever we go and I look forward to them everytime!

DH's favorite are the turkey legs. He loves a good steak, but he likes the turkey legs because he said they are real "man food." Must be the primal, caveman thing about ripping the meat off the bone with his teeth!
