MVMCP Wristbands

After 4:00p there will be CM around the park to exchange the wristbands for your tickets. They are usually around the hub and near city hall and a couple of other spots.

Beside City Hall they will have table where you can get your wristband.:goodvibes :goodvibes

do you just pay for mvmcp at the park or do you do that at the resort?

You can buy them now over the phone or online or you could wait and buy them at the resort or even at the park but some nights have a advance purchase discount so they must be bought before the day of the party you want to attend. Also, some night could sell out so if you are sure of the night you want to attend then it's best to buy them now.

I havent quite won hubby over on the idea of spending that much for 1 night yet lol i may have to hope that one of the nights we're there is available

There are many locations set up around the park for the wristbands. Get there early because the lines get very long the closer to 7 you get.

exchange the wristbands for your tickets? You dont kept your ticket? As a souvenir?

When I ask what goes on at the Halloween party or the Christmas party for the additional $40+ when I already have and AP- I do not get a lot of explanation.

The description I get sounds alot like the Extra Magic Hours....and most of the things I have wanted to do then are not open at EMH.

When I looked on line they said "giveaways"....like what? $40 can buy alot of candy, even at Ghiradelli's.

Are the parades different?

Are the fireworks different?

I want to catch the fever-the marketing materials and CM are leaving something out. Help me!:confused3

Unless you are in the parks during Christmas week everything at MVMCP you may only see by attending the party. The Christmas parade is not shown in the park except during the party and Christmas week. There are special fireworks for the party - not Wishes. Several stage shows that are not normally shown in the park. You can buy a ticket to MVMCP to see the shows or come during Christmas week when the shows are performed during regular hours in the MK. I would think that MVMCP would be less crowded than attending during Christmas week.

I was hoping to keep our tickets too? You can't??

Sorry, yes you can keep them. What I meant was show them your party tickets and get wristbands. They used to mark the ticket on the back with a perminant marker to show they've seen it and given the wristband. Not sure if they still do that.

But yes, you can keep it. :thumbsup2

If You Come After 4 Can You Just Get Your Bands When You Enter The Park ? And Once You Have Them Can You Stay Back In The Park When They Are Making All The Others Leave Or Do You Have To Come Back Up Front?

Yes, you can on both counts! :thumbsup2

No need to come back to the front of the park.

You will be able to buy special party merchandise....I know, not always a plus!! There is hot chocolate and cookies at various spots around the park. The Christmas Parade shown at MVMCP is indeed a special one. It is completely different than the day time parade, and the general public doesn't get to see it until the parties are done, just before Christmas.
For the most part all the attractions are open. There is candy given away at the Halloween party, but not at the Christmas party. The shows that are up at MVMCP are really a lot of fun. I actually try to do the shows rather than the attractions. The attractions I can do anytime, but not the shows.
The fireworks are terrific at the parties also. One of my favorite things. While all the fireworks are good at WDW, the special party ones are terrific.

They actually scan your ticket so that it cannot be reused.
