MVMCP Wristbands

They actually scan your ticket so that it cannot be reused.

My description is from 2000 (and we did it in a restaurant and not outside). Since then I've always entered the park after 4:00p so have never had to get our wristbands in the park since then.

Makes sense though since they can scan your Photopass card.

There are special fireworks for the party - not Wishes.

Expect for hearing the music anyone at the Magic Kingdom Monorail Resorts and the boat dock at the TTC are also able to see the special fireworks which are for MVMCP.

Of course, but it's not quite the same without the music and the special effects that are shown on the Castle.

I have been able to see the effects on the castle from the Magic Kingdom view rooms when I stayed at the Contemporary.

I agree with you. This past August I saw Wishes for the 1st time in the Magic Kingdom and after that I thought it's completely different from viewing it from my room. Obviously regular Wishes and the ones during MVMCP are not the same, however I am referring to the feel of the show when you see it from the Magic Kingdom.
