Do you think it is worth it to pay the extra prices for the party with little ones? Wasn't sure if they would stay up late enough to make it worth it and if they would enjoy it any more than they would a normal day at the park. Thanks!

I would not do it. There is so much to see and do at WDW, and your kids are still young. I think you'll have enough to enjoy. Just my 2 cents.

Well, I can answer you in a week. I am taking DD3 and DS (13 months) next week to the Halloween party. I don't think it's worth it for DS but I think he will sleep in the stroller. DD3, I thought would like to trick or treat and dress up. Not sure if I would do the Christmas party. But we are doing the Halloween party!

So depends on your kids sleep style. DS would fall asleep at 7:30 no matter where we were or what was going on. DGS, now almost three, can go as late as we can as long as he gets a good afternoon nap!

We have done the party and we really did very few rides but tried to catch shows and special things.

Not sure it would be worth the money with such little ones.

I don't think it would be worth it either....they may not appreciate the shows and you can do the rides on your regular park days.

However, make sure you check out the Osborne Lights at DHS -- the lights are synched to Christmas music and there is a party like feeling and it occasionally snows there as well -- This is our favorite Disney event at Christmas.

Thanks DIS'ers! I am def on board to check out Osborne Lights. Originally we were only going to be able to catch them once, but now that they start Nov 10, we hope to catch them a couple times. As much as I love my rides, I am stoked to see all the resorts and parks decorated. I am trying to balance park time with resort viewing!!

We actually went to MVMCP last December and I would definately pass with the little ones!!! It was late, CROWDED (December 9-16th) and they just did not enjoy it at all. I would never pay the admission price knowing that we would not get to the early shows (these fill up immediately) and smoshed like cattle behind a rope to see the parade and people still were pushing and shoving to see! It all around kind of sucked and we would not do it again at 50 bucks a pop.

Now the Osborne lights were fantastic though. Do not miss the OL with your little ones (ours were mesmerized)!!!!!
