How many people go to MVMCP two nights? Is it worth it?
My family and I are debating. My children will be 3 and 5 and I know they won't make it till midnight. We really want to do and see everything b/c we don't know if we'll ever be able to schedule a Dec. trip again- I'm a teacher. Anyway, we really want to see all the shows and the parade and fireworks. I'm afraid if we go only one night, I'll be stressed out to try to see and get to everything. We're thinking of going two nights and relax a little and enjoy it. We're not really interested in the rides- I feel like we'll be able to do those in the day. But, we want to see and enjoy the shows and characters. If the kids fall asleep, they will ride in the strollers. We'll sleep in the mornings of the party and take a slow day so maybe they'll do better.
We'll be there Dec. 5-11. Already have tickets for Tuesday's party, Dec. 7. Thinking about Thursday, Dec. 9.
Need opinions.......

Hey Tink2 we know how you feel. DW and I got tickets for the MMVMCP in May when they first were released. We honestly didn't think we were coming back so soon. We went on our disneymoon in April. We thought what if we didn't see everything the 1st night? So we did get a 2nd set of tickets for the last night we are there, Dec 9. If you order now, they will come pretty quick. Hey we might see you on the 7th as well.

I thought that I was the only one considering going 2 nights. I am traveling with my wife and 3 children (6,5, 2) and like you doubt we can see all in one night. Plus, there are many things that we will probably want to see more than once. We will be there 12/1-12/6.

One night we do all the attractions and on second night we do al lthe live shows and parade,we love the MVMCP and feel it is worth the money to us for all the joy we get from going twice and not feeling rushed to try to take it all in on on night.

I was thinking of doing 2 nights also. We have the tickets for 11/28 already. I was thinking if we felt like we missed something or wanted to go again, we might try for 12/2. But I don't want to buy them yet. Does anyone know the what chances are of them being sold out if we don't buy them until around 11/29?? I just don't want to put the money out if we feel like we experienced it all on the first night. There's 5 of us so it is a good amount of $ and we are getting AP's for the first time this year. So really, the attractions are not what we will be going for.

OK- looks like we will be doing 2 nights. I don't feel so crazy after all! I'll probably go ahead and buy tickets- it'd be my luck to wait and they'd be sold out.
Going two nights will allow us to relax a little, catch what we can the first night, and do the rest the second night.
Thanks for the advice!princess:

I had bought tickets for MVMCP for Nov. 30th back in May for DH, myself and our 5 DD'S. After reading all the shows and attractions that go on on those nights I talked my DH into buying tickets to a second night. We bought the tickets while we were at Disney in August. He thought it was crazy to go for 2 nights but now I'm glad I'm not the only one who bought tickets for 2 nights.

I love the Dis board. When ever I think I have gone Disney overboard reading the Dis board makes me feel normal!!!!

My wife and I have tickets for both the 2nd and the 7th of December - we thought one night just wouldnt be enough :bounce: :Pinkbounc

I am glad we got tickets for 2 different nights. Is it December yet?

After reading all these posts I called and ordered tickets for a second night. What a great idea! We'll be going Dec. 2 and Dec. 5. Since everypark other than Epcot closes early that time of year, what else would we be doing at night? I'm so excited!

I was just discussing this with my mom! Maybe we should try 2 nights this time. Last time we went, I planned poorly and it was crowded. And you just cant get enough of walking down Main Street in the snow!!! If we do 2 parties, it would be the first and second one. We did the very first party 2 years ago and it was pretty crowded. I dont know what to do!!! As of now, we are planning on just the 30th. But Im thinking going to 2 might be better. It will be my parents, and me and my 3 kids ( 11,9,2). You guys are making me want to go twice!!

I say go. How else would you want to spend Christmas time with the mouse. We haven't been, but think of the snow on Main St. Do you really want to know that you are missing a 2nd night, when you know you could have gone?

Sorry just trying to help you out. :hyper:

Come on Aimeem- go ahead and book the second night. If not, you'll be sitting in your hotel room wishing you were at MK! :p
Just kidding- good luck with your decision! As you can tell, those of us in the 2 MVMCP club want you to join!!!princess:

tink2- I KNOW!! I would be the one saying.. gosh, we could be walking in the snow on main street right now! What was I thinking???? hahaha Air Tran just changed our arrival flight ( as in I just got the email....grrrrr.... I really wanted to be in orlando at 930 am!!) and is getting us there an hour and a half later now. This is going to mess up my itinerary. Im going to have to rework it and see if a 2nd MVMCP will work!!!
