You and a lot of other people surely miss Twas the Night! I'm glad we saw it in 08. They actually demolished the theater they used before last year's party so it was gone then. They added a "Totally tomorrowland Christmas" show last year, but there is no seating and it got mixed reviews.

I know a CM has been posting some character updates on MNSSHP over on that thread, and the parties haven't started yet, so hopefully she can do the same when this party gets closer. But they don't publish details until the first party.

Sorry about that. I missed the year.

They go on sale in the spring, in early May. So you'll have a bit to wait.

Hey guys I have two questions if you can help...

1) Have any of you went the Sunday after Thanksgiving? Crazy?

2)We just became disney visa members and I notice they have discounts on MNSSHP tickets. Does anyone know if they typically give MVMCP discounts and if so when they genrally come out?

thanks

Has Disney ever released military discount tickets for MVMCP? I know there are Visa discounts right now for MNSSHP but I would to try to get a discount on the Christmas tickets. We are on track to plan our longest and least expensive WDW trip yet!! Just trying to get a little higher discount so we can go back again!! :) I got 7 nights at POP for 458.00 and we have TIW for our dining discounts, plus discounted Military Florida seasonal pass holders. Now, just need Mickey to discount his VMCP!! We will go either way but I wouldn't mind waiting for a bit to see if the do discount. We are going the last weekend in Nov and the first week in Dec.

Wondering if anyone would know if there are Wishes Dessert Party's on nights the MK has MVMCP?

Is it worth it for a first timer to also do the Dessert Party if it's available, or would they miss too much of the other activities at MVMCP?
A little more detail to help answer this question; two 25 year olds, one is a camera junkie, attending MVMCP for the first time for both, one hasn't ever been to Disney and the other went when was younger. Flying in on the day we are going to MVMCP, the next day will also be at MK with CP in AM before park opens.

Hi everyone, I have a question. My mom wants to buy my tickets for the christmas party for my cousin and I and use her credit card to purchase them online. Will this be a problem, having someone else use their own credit card to purchase tickets? will we have a problem receiving and using the tickets if we didn't purchase them with our own credit card? do they mail the tickets to you or do you pick them up?

If you don't have a discount attached to tix you can have the mailed. I personally have an AP discount so my tixs r held at will call but I had to put in name of person picking up tixs so am sure could use diff c as long as pick up name is person picking up tix.

You can also just print them out at home, or have the person who buys them print them out. That's what I did so I didn't have to pay extra to have them mailed to my home.

I am wondering about wishes desert party as well. Is it worth it (2 year old, 5 year old) assuming we can even get tickets? Or will there be too much other stuff going on for the kids to see, and just skip it.

This is my first year doing MVMCP and doing the WDP (on a non-party night) so I am just going by what I read, but I think you would be missing out on a lot. If the fireworks are at 9.30, the WDP will run from 8.30 until the end fo the fireworks. You are paying for MVMCP and will spend almost two hours missing it. I have heard you can still see part of the parade (8.15) from WDP but it isn't the same as being on the parade route. Plus if your kids want to see all of the other stuff going on(character greetings, shows, dance parties) you will be severely limited in the amount of time you can do it. I would imaging that at 2 and 5yrs old they may not last until midnight to help you fit that all in.

My advice would be to skip WDP and just enjoy MVMCP!

I would agree. We did MNSSHP last year and there was definitely too much to be missed by going to the dessert party. You are already paying a lot for tickets to the party without paying on top of that for the dessert party (which will cause you to miss MVMCP stuff that you've already paid for!). I would also agree with the PP that you would probably miss out on a lot of the parade trying to view it from the dessert party (which, don't forget is not the regular MSEP, but the Christmas parade) While it is done twice during the party it is unlikely that your little ones would last for the second parade.

Omigod I'm so excited for MVMCP!!! I've never been at Christmas before, and have tickets booked for December 9th. Could not be any more excited! I loved MNSSHP last year mostly for the Characters and parade, so I'm hoping MVMCP will be just as fun :D
